Hello everyone....can you believe it's Friday already?? Where has the week gone?? It's just a few minutes after midnight and I'm not a bit tired....I have to get up at 6:30 in the morning so I better get tired real fast...LOL!!! I am going to take Mom and Dad to the optical shop in the morning so they can pick out new glasses. I have never figured out how you are supposed to try on frames when you can't see without your glasses....go figure!!! Anyway....
I made this card tonight for the Free 4 all Challenge on Splitcoast to use paper piecing. The birdcage and birds from Woodware's Bird Song set were all paper pieced with basic Grey's Wisteria dp. Distressing, sewing, pearls, ribbon, lace, button, and twine finish it off.

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, River Rock
Accessories: Lace, PTI's Royal Velvet Ribbon, Twine, Button, Pearls, Distressing,

Very pretty with the papers and that distressed look. Great stuff with the pearls and the ribbon and twine bow. I agree, I wear glasses and trying on glasses is frustrating. Have a great weekend.

I had to smile at your comment about trying on frames when you can't see without your glasses.....you're so right and you'd think the spectacle sellers would think of that!! lol. They provide a magnifying mirror, but all that does is make the blurred image bigger! CoB
