Taylored Expressions March Release Day: Keep on Truckin!!

Hello everyone....today is the March Release Day at Taylored Expressions!!!! All the fabulous new products are available for purchase in the *New* section of the Taylored Expressions store...WOOT!!! Be sure to stop by the TE blog, also, to see if you are a winner...hope this is your lucky day!!!



My card today features the adorable Elephant Parade die...it was cut out of Metallic Neutrals (silver) cardstock. Pink patterned paper was adhered to the back of the diecut over the ear negative and then the silver cardstock ears were adhered to the front. Pewter pearls were added for the eyes and the elephants were popped up on the patterned paper cutout with the Banner Stacklets 2 dies.


The sentiment was embossed onto the Tag Stacklets 3 diecut with white opaque embossing powder and then it was adhered to the background with foam dots. The twine and the Doodlebug Sprinkles finish it off.

Taylored Expressions March Sneak Peeks: Let's Cheer You Up!!

Hello everyone and welcome to day three of the Taylored Expressions March Sneak Peeks!! Don't you just love the wonderful new stamps and dies we have showed you so far...they can all be yours tomorrow!! The March Release is tomorrow, Thursday, March 3 at 7:00 AM PST (9:00 CST)!!! My first card features the adorable Build a Scene - Window...the window base and panes were cutout of Sugar Cube cardstock  and the *sky* was colored with a Copic. The curtains were cut out of patterned papers from Pebbles Front Porch 6x6 paper pad. The window needed a room to be in so the cute little furniture from the Sit & Chat stamp set were all paper pieced with the same patterned papers. 


The lamp bases were colored with Copics and the patterned paper lamp shades were both popped up with foam dots. The *wallpaper border* at the top was cut with the previously released Small Scallop Border and the largest frame die from the previously released Frame in Frame Cutting Plate was used for for the frame. The sentiment is from the Sit & Chat set, too.

My second card features the super cute Grown Up Grumplings stamp set...the images were colored with Copics and cutout with the Grown Up Grumplings coordinating die.


The sentiment from the same set was stamped with Versamark onto Oreo cardstock and embossed with white opaque embossing powder. The sentiment was cutout with the previously released Stitched Banner Stacklets and adhered to the background patterned paper that was cut out with the previously released Postage Stamp Stacklets. Sewing was done around the background paper and the twine finishes it off.

Taylored Expressions March Sneak Peeks: Wild Birthdays!

Hello everyone and welcome to day two of the Taylored Expressions March Sneak Peeks!!! I have a couple of birthday cards for you today featuring some super cute new stamps and dies but first I want to remind you that the TE March release is Thursday, March 3, at 7:00 AM PST (9:00 CST). Also...

My first card features the Little Bits - Let's Talk Bubble and the Let's Talk Sentiments stamp set. To create my little scene, the sky and hills were watercolored on watercolor paper....the hills were cutout with the previously released Build a Scene - Rolling Hills dies and adhered to the sky background with foam dots. The paper pieced trees were cut out of patterned paper and Toffee cardstock for the trunks with the previously released Build a Scene - Trees and the evergreens were cut out of Sweet Basil cardstock with the previously released Buils a Scene - Winter Trees. The previously released Little Bits - Fox die was used for the super cute little fox and pearls were added for the eyes and nose. 


The previously released Build a Scene - Swirly Clouds were cut out of Sugar Cube cardstock as was the Little Bits - Let's Talk Bubble. The sentiment from the Let's Talk Sentiments stamp set was stamped on the bubble with Memento Rich Cocoa and the twine finishes it off.

My second card features the Tag Stacklets 3 dies....instead of using them for tags, I decided to create balloons with them. I just love dies that one can use in lots of different ways!! They were cutout of patterned paper and twine was attached. The giraffe and the little bird from the previously released Hippo Birdy stamp set were cut out with the Hippo Birdy dies and popped up with foam dots. The giraffe was paper pieced and the bird was colored with Copics. 


The sentiment from the same set was stamped on Oreo cardstock and embossed with white opaque embossing powder. I have several little Grandsons so this will be perfect for one of them!!
