Say What?

Hello everyone!! Today I want to share a card I made with the super fun  Say What? Conversation Bubble dies from Taylored Expressions....these are just the cutest dies and are perfect for any occasion!!

I decided to use them on a Valentine that was made with the darling image from the Taylored Expressions Love Makes the World Go Round stamp set and the sentiments from the Say What? stamp set

The Crate Paper Love Notes 6x6 paper pad from the January Key Ingredients kit was used for the background along with a heart doily. The image was colored with Copics as were the diecut conversation bubbles. Two black diecuts were also cut for each bubble and they were adhered to the back a little over the edge for matting and the sentiments were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black.

An enamel heart was added along with sewing around the background edges and the twine and button finish it off.

Thanks for stopping by...have a great day and stay warm!!!!

Color Throwdown Challenge #277

Hello everyone!! Welcome to this weeks Color Throwdown Challenge! Broni is our hostess this week and she has picked some beautiful colors for us to play with!!!

I was a little disappointed in how my baked brown sugar photographed....it looks kinda green in the photo above....yikes!!!

The colors in this photo look much better!!! The flowers from the Taylored Expressions Discover Your Wings stamp set were stamped with Versamark and embossed with white ep.  A little sewing was done along the right edge and the scalloped edge was created with the Taylored Expressions Lace Chain Border die.  The sentiment is from the TE Happily Ever After set and the enamel dots and the Baker's Twine finish it off.

Remember, you don't have to use the exact colors.....use what you have as long as they are close to the challenge colors and be sure to add CTD277 to the keywords section when you upload your cards to an online gallery so we can find your creations!!

You can find out all the challenge details on the Color Throwdown Blog.

Valentine Tags

Hello everyone!! I had a little play time yesterday and decided to make a few Valentine tags to attach to Valentine presents.  I used my new favorite stamp set...the Taylored Expressions January Stamp of the Month called Kiss Me

and the coordinating dies called Love M'stache.

You can find out all about the SOTM and all details about the Kit here in the new products section in the Taylored Expressions Store!

The tags were made with the new Tags Stacklets 2 dies and the Tag Reinforcements dies. Besides the stamps and dies from the SOTM sets Hemp cording, enamel dots, Baker's Twine, a little sewing and embossing on the hearts were used to finish off the tags.

My favorite diecuts  from the set have got to be the lips and mustaches....they are just tooo cute!!!!

Color Throwdown Challenge #276

Hello everyone!! Welcome to this weeks Color Throwdown Challenge! Barbara is our hostess this week and I though the color combo she picked this week would be perfect for my Grandson Ryan's birthday card...he will like it as long as I keep the yellow to a minimum...LOL!!!!

My card features the adorable Paper Smooches Super stamp set....the Super Hero was colored with Copics, cut out with the coordinating die called Super 1, and popped up with foam tape. The cityscape was cutout of basic gray card stock with the Paper Smooches Super 2 dies and lined with daffodil delight card stock. The sentiment from the PS Sentiment Sampler was stamped on the crumb cake card stock with basic gray ink and then the Talk Bubble was stamped over the sentiment, cutout, and popped up with foam dots. I didn't add any embellies so Ryan wouldn't think it was a girlie card...LOL!!!

This is also for the Smooches Paper Spark's Anything Goes Challenge!!

Remember, you don't have to use the exact colors.....use what you have as long as they are close to the challenge colors and be sure to add CTD276 to the keywords section when you upload your cards to an online gallery so we can find your creations!!
