Birthday Bash!

Hello everyone!!! I hope you had a great weekend!!! I was a bit under the weather so I spent most of my weekend on the couch sipping tea and eating chicken soup...yck!!! I did get into the craft room last night to make another birthday card....we have had a lot of birthdays so far this year!! It's a good thing that I have the Taylored Expressions SOTM set called Birthday Bash because I have used it alot!!!

My card features the candle and flame stamps along with the present stamp that I used for the banners...I just looove it when I can use stamps from a set in different ways!!! The sentiment is from the Taylored Expressions From Me To You stamp set and the twine finishes it off.

This is the February Stamp of the Month ....the perfect birthday stamp set!!! The coordinating die set is called Party Time and it is sold seperately.

Taylored Expressions February Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!

Hello everyone and welcome to the Taylored Expressions February Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!!! The Baker's Dozen DT is teaming up with the Key Ingredients DT to showcase the February SOTM called Birthday Bash, the coordinating dies called Party Time, and the February Key Ingredients Kit which contains patterned papers from the We Are Memory Keepers Hip Hip Hooray collection, card stock, and an assortment of ribbons.

Here is the Delux Kit which includes both the February SOTM and the KI kit

and here is the coordinating die set called Party Time (sold seperately)

Here is my first card featuring the cute polka dot balloon stamp...

The balloons were stamped, cutout with the Party Time balloon die, and popped up with foam dots onto the background tilted papers from the February Key Ingredients kiit. The balloon strings were also cutout with dies from the Party Time die set and a little sewing was done on the background layers.

The sentiment from the Birthday Bash set was stamped on the Label It banner die and the button and hemp twine finish it off. 

Since I already had all the beautiful papers, stamps and dies out on my work table, I decided to make another card...I am always is need of birthday cards!!! This card also features the balloon die but this time I cut out patterned paper balloons and stamped the strings. 

The balloons were popped up with foam dots and the sequins are the only embellies. Both birthday cards will work for either make or female....woot!!!!!

How about a little inspiration from the KI and Baker's Dozen DT's...I can't wait to see what they created with these super fun stamps and dies!!!!

Valentine Tags

Hello everyone!! I had a little play time yesterday and decided to make a few Valentine tags to attach to Valentine presents.  I used my new favorite stamp set...the Taylored Expressions January Stamp of the Month called Kiss Me 

and the coordinating dies called Love M'stache.

The tags were made with the new Tags Stacklets 2 dies and the Tag Reinforcements dies. Besides the stamps and dies from the SOTM sets Hemp cording, enamel dots, Baker's Twine, a little sewing and embossing on the hearts were used to finish off the tags. 

My favorite diecuts  from the set have got to be the lips and mustaches....they are just tooo cute!!!!
