This is the card I made on Tuesday for this weeks Color Challenge on Splitcoast to use Basic Gray, Daffodil Delight, and Rose Red. My dessert option was blue. I had a hard time with the yellow, though...the flower centers in the background paper were punched from a scrap of yellow cardstock and glued to centers...not a whole lot of yellow but at least it's there!!! This is also for da Mudders Teapot Tuesday challenge to help Summer win the Tutu by bringing stash that's worth all of the cash! We were to gussy up our cards with lots of stuff...ribbon, bling, flowers...ya know, all the things we love to hoard!!! I used the Mojo Monday Sketch #158 for the layout...stamped the adorable little teapot from PTI's Tea for Two set with Ballet Blue Craft ink and embossed with clear ep. The little metal flowers with the blingy centers are from Making Memories and the ribbon and pearls finish it off.

The background medallion from Nina Brackett's Nana's Needlework was stamped with Brilliance Pearlescent Coral and embossed with clear ep. The chipboard button was run across the Pearlescent Coral ink pad and embossed with clear ep twice....the ZVA rhinestone flourish, scalloped paper layer and the ribbon finish it off.

Christmas Bird and da Mudder's Kitties
Recipe:
Stamps: Waltzingmouse
Papers: White, Riding Hood Red, Memory Box Mistletoe dp
Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa
Accessories: Button, Twine, Wrinkled Seam Binding, Sewing Machine, Dimensionals
I made this card yesterday for the Color Challenge on Splitcoast to use Baja Breeze, Cajun Craze, and Wild Wasabi. I also used the sketch from Card Pattern's Challenge #82. The challenge colors and sketch were both perfect for da Mudder's Teapot Tuesday Challenge on Splitcoast. It seems two kitties named Nibbles and Fritz are being moved from Texas to California....much to their displeasure. I'm hoping this fine looking RV will make their trip a little more comfortable. The Unity trees were paper pieced and the Bella Blvd. camper and MFT's kitties from Congrats All Around were colored with copics. The destination for our cards this week is the sweet Bertie (Bertlady) who moved to California and needs some welcome to the neighborhood cards!! We will be having out teaparty at her new house on top of all the boxes...Whoohoo!!!
Recipe:
Stamps: Bella Blvd. Clear stamps (RV), Unity stamps (trees), My Favorite Things Congrats All Around (Cats), Stampin Up (Track Wheel)

A Sunday Full of Challenges
I made the first card for the challenge on Paper Sundaes Challenge to make a card with fall colors. The Rubbernecker Cornucopia image was stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa and colored with copics. It was then cutout and popped up .....the nesties shape was first sponges with Pumpkin Pie while it was still in the die. The sentiment is from a Just Rite oval frame...it was stamped, cutout, and attached with dimensionals over a squiggly line I drew on the background. The buttons strung through the twine, wrinkled seam binding, button, lace, leaves, and twine finish it off.
Recipe:
Stamps: Rubbernecker, Just Rite Autumn Blessings
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Memento Rich Cocoa
Paper: Vanilla, Chocolate Chip, Really Rust, Fall Harvest dp from K&Co.
Accessories: Nestabilities, Buttons, Twine, Lace, Wrinkled Seam Binding, Prima Leaves, Metal Leaf, Copics
This is also for a few other challenges:
1. Stampin' Sisters in Christ - fall colors
2. Thoughtful Thursday - anything that starts with a C (cornucopia)
3. My Sheri Crafts Challenge - Fall/Autumn
4. Wee Memories - orange and string (I used twine)
Jen has a great sketch this week on her i {heart} 2 stamp blog. I took a few liberties by using the scrunched lace and tilting the image layer just a little. The Crafty Secrets Material Girl stamps were stamped onto the vanilla cs with Memento Tuxedo Black and the edges were sponges with Tea Dye Distress Ink and distressed. Sewing and distressing was done around the background layer and the twill, button, twine, and the button on the image layer are the finishing touches.

Christmas is in the Air!!!
Good morning everyone!!! I had such a great day yesterday....first of all I got my hair cut which makes me feel human again...LOL!!! I also went shopping and found a few things on sale...Whoohoo!!! To top the day off, I actually made three cards....one of which I'll show you tomorrow. I made the first card for the Queen for the Day challenge on Splitcoast to honor our fearless leader, Anne Ryan!! She has honored many worthy stampers with her wonderful challenges and now it's her turn!! I didn't case any particular card of her's but made a card in honor of her. The Christmas card features a Cotton Scrap from Crafty Secret...I just love the vintage look!!! It was mounted on a piece of Rose Red cardstock and the background paper is from Webster's Pages Home for the Holidays. The Heidi Swapp Ghost Shape snowflakes were colored with a copic and the pearls, lace, wrinkled seam binding, button, and ribbon finish it off. Congrats, Anne...hope all is well and you are able to return home soon!!!
This Christmas card was made for the Walzingmouse Sketch Challenge # 14 found on their challenge blog. The adorable images from their Oven Fresh Gingerbread Joy were stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa and Poppy Parade, cutout and attached with glue dots and dimensionals. The background papers are from SEI's Winter Song and the scalloped edge and ribbon are the finishing touches.
