Wacky Wednesday Challenge, Rubbernecker Sneak Peek, and Creative Belli Challenge

Good morning everyone...it's Wednesday and you know what that means...it's time for another Rubbernecker Wacky Wednesday!!! The hostess this week is the bad one herself, Sherry, and her challenge is for us to use stitching; hand stitching, machine stitching, or faux. Be sure to upload your challenge cards on the Rubbernecker Blog using Mr. Linky.

This is an exciting week, too, because tomorrow is the BIG release for six new Rubbernecker stamp sets and a blog stroll with the Rubbernecker Red-Hot Mommas!! Join us on the stroll and you may be a winner of one of the stamp sets!!! My card is a sneak peek of the Wildflower Silhouettes #466 and it will be available tomorrow!!! The winner of this week’s challenge will receive a Discount Coupon good for 40% off their entire Rubbernecker order. They will also get to take advantage of all other specials and discounts on the Rubbernecker Stamps home page.
The flower images were all stamped with different shades of blue and yellow...Certainly Celery for the stems and the sentiment was stamped with Brilliant Blue. The butterfly is from another one of the six new release sets called Spring Inches. It was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Bashful Blue and So Saffron markers.

I used the flower images to stamp on the yellow background layer with So Saffron and a single rose was stamped over the sentiment.
The background layers and the chipboard frame were covered with Jinkitz dp from Rubbernecker and I sewed around the edges of the background layers. Pearls and ribbon finish it off.

You'll want to begin your stroll at the Rubbernecker Blog tomorrow morning to make sure you catch all the clues!

Today the Design Team will all be posting previews of all six of the new release sets for the challenge. Please visit their blogs today to see what you can expect more of tomorrow!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Creative Belli Challenge
This week, Chrissy's Creative Belli Challenge is a color challenge: Cameo Coral, Certainly Celery, and Apricot Appeal. This beautiful Inkadinkado stamp from Stamper's Dream was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with copics. I could just kick myself because as I'm uploading this, I thought about using Flower Soft on the flowers...dang, to late now!!! You will have to pretend it's there!!
This is pretty simple...flowers, Martha Stewart Punched leaves, Candy Dots, and shear ribbon complete the design.
The close up shows some of the image details.....don't ya thing flower soft would look awesome on this???
Be sure to visit the Creative Belli Design Team Member's blogs to read more details about their designs. You will find lots of awesome ideas!!! If you upload a card to Splitcoast or PCP, be sure to add CBC65 in the keywords section.
I'm glad you got your card, hope it was on time and I'm happy you liked the flowers. They are hand crocheted from the 1940's, I thought they were so pretty!
