Taylored Expressions Ink Release

Hello everyone!!! I have some super exciting news...Taylored Expressions has INK...Whoohoo!!!! That's right...Taylor has a fabulous new line of inks and they match the Premium Cardstock cool is that!!!! 
The ink is made in the USA which makes it even better!!! 

The colors released this month include: 

Premium Dye Ink in 10 colors: Cherry Pop, Lollipop, Strawberry Milkshake, Candy Corn, Lemon Meringue, Peapod, Granny Smith, Salt Water Taffy, Cookie Monster, and Jelly Donut

These inks are sooo fabulous to use....they are fast-drying, acid-free, and have  superior coverage!! 

Premium Hybrid Ink in 2 colors: Chocolate Truffle and Oreo. 

The Hybrid Inks are also fast drying, acid free with superior coverage...Plus they are waterproof and compatible with alcohol markers....they work perfectly with Copics!!! 

All the inks come in full size pads - 2.5" x 3.5" and Mini Pads - 1" x 1"... and as a little bonus....the Mini Pads will also fit in the Tim Holtz Distress Ink Tins...Woot!!

My first project features  the Taylored Expressions Posh Posies Stamp set...check out the awesome coverage I achieved with these inks and the colors are soo pretty!!! 


1. Cut 4 1/4  x 8 ½” cardbase of Sugar Cube cardstock and fold in half
2. Cut the following:
a. Stitched Circle Stacklets from Chocolate Truffle
b. Stitched Circle Stacklets from Sugar Cube
c. Medium Scallop border from patterned paper
d. 1/4"  x 4 1/4"  strip of patterned paper
3. Stamp flowers with Cherry Pop, Lemon Meringue, and Candy Corn inks ( Ink the stamp with the lighter color first and then roll the edges of the stamp on the darker ink pad). Stamp leaf and stems with Granny Smith. Stamp sentiment with Chocolate Truffle.
4. Adhere patterned paper diecuts to cardbase. Adhere smaller white circle to larger brown circle with foam tape. Adhere circles to cardbase with foam tape. Adhere sequins and tie cording bow.

My second project also features Posh Posies...the flowers were stamped with Strawberry Milkshake with Lollipop along the edges(rock and roll technique) and the vases were stamped with Cookie Monster.  I can't get over how these inks have such superior white spaces or splotchy coverage at all!!  They also match perfectly with the TE Premium Cardstock it!!

1. Cut 4 1/4  x 8 ½” cardbase of Sugar Cube cardstock and fold in half
2. Cut the following:
a. Stitched Square Stacklets from Sugar Cube cardstock  
b. 3 7/8  x 3 7/8  piece of Oreo cardstock
c. Skinny Mini Borders scallop piece from Oreo cardstock
d. In Flight Overlays butterfly from Cookie Monster cardstock
3. Stamp vases on Stitched Square Stacklets diecut with Cookie Monster ink ½ inch from bottom edge. Brush Strawberry Milkshake ink in center of right vase. Stamp sentiment with Oreo ink.
4. Mask vase on the right. Ink flower stamps with Strawberry Milkshake ink and add Lollipop ink to the edges of the flowers, ink stems with Granny Smith ink and stamp above vases. Adhere Oreo scallop, butterfly, and pearls.  
5. Adhere black matting to card front and adhere to cardbase with foam tape.
