Emboss Resist Birthday Card

Hello everyone!! I hope you had a wonderful Valentine's Day!! We didn't do anything exciting....I did get roses, candy and I got to play a little in the craft room so life is good!!!

Anyway...I needed to make a birthday card for one of my teeny Grands so I decided to do a little emboss resist. The guitar from the Taylored Expressions Rock My World stamp set was first embossed on watercolor paper.

Then Clean Color Real Brush markers were used to scribble some color on over the embossed guitar.

A large paint brush was used to add water and blend the colors together. When I was a little girl I loved to finger paint and and smear all the colors together so I was really in my element with this...LOL!!!

The watercolor paper was trimmed to fit behind the frame that was cut out of
Salt Water Taffy cardstock with one of the Frame in Frame Cutting Plate dies and popped up on the Sugar Cube cardbase that was trimmed on the side with washi tape. The *records* from the same stamp set were stamped, cutout by hand, and adhered benind the frame.  The white embossed sentiment and the stamped sentiment at the bottom are from the same set and the Sprinkles dots and twine finish it off.

Thanks for stopping by...have a great day!!!
