Taylored Expressions May Sneak Peeks: Eventful - Birthday Party and Gridlocked

Hello everyone and welcome to day three of the Taylored Expressions May Sneak Peeks!!! Didn't you just love all the fabulous Father's Day inspiration we had for you yestarday!!! Masculine cards have always been hard for me but all the new TE dies make them sooo easy!!! Remember, the May release goes live tomorrow, Thursday, May 7th at 7:00 AM PST (9:00 CST)!! Be sure to check out all the fun at the TE Blog!!

Taylored Expressions is celebrating Release Week with some fabulous giveaways! Visit the TE Blog each Sneak Peek Day this week for details on how you can enter to win.

Today, we created invitations for a variety of occasions using the new RSVP and Eventful stamp sets.  My invitation is for a birthday party...the Eventful - Birthday Party die was used with Salt Water Taffy and Baby Mine 6x6 paper pad papers to create the border at the bottom. The previously released Frame in Frame Cutting Plate was used to cut the two frames and a scalloped border was created with the previously released Skinny Mini Borders 2 die

The sentiment is from the Eventful stamp set and it was stamped with Memento Gray Flannel ink.

The inside was stamped with the RSVP stamp and the birthday party stamp is from the Eventful set. Skinny Mini Border 2 die was used for the scalloped border and the presents finish it off.

The Gridlocked stamp set and the Gridlocked die were used for this fun card...perfect for any occasion!! The stamped image was colored with copics and the Gridlocked Frame was cut out of Lollipop cardstock

Sewing was done around the patterned paper background and the previously released Small Scallop Border die was used to cut the scalloped border. The twine and enamel dots finish it off.

After cutting out several Gridlocked diecuts, I had lots of these little squares on my counter. Since I hate to throw things away, I decided to use them on another card...this time with the cute little gnome from the Under the Toadstool Stamp Set.

He was colored with copics, cut out with the Under the Toadstool die and popped up with foam dots. The sentiment is from the same set and was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black.

Thanks for visiting, crafty friends! If you'd like to see more projects and new product information, please head over to the TE Blog for a complete blog roll of our participating designers...and remember, all the fabulous goodies can be yours tomorrow!!

What a great mix of cards! Love the soft, lacy elegance of the invitation. The Gridlocked card is so cheerful - and what a fabulous use of the little leftover squares!
