Spring Flowers

Hello everyone!!!  What strange weather we are having around here...it's in the 40's at night and then warms up to the 70s-80s  in the afternoon. I wish it would make up it's mind....is it winter or is it spring?? Only the Shadow knows...LOL!!!

I had a real fun few days last week....bowel prep last Thursday and a colonoscopy on Friday!!! It was so much fun that I think I'll do it again in 10 years!!! I don't know what is worse...a colonoscopy or a mammogram. I think it's a toss up...LOL!!!  Anyway...

I'm in the mood for spring so I pulled out some Taylored Expressions dies and stamps and went to work. The Baker's Dozen DT was challenged to make a card without patterned paper...here is my take on the challenge.

The flowers were cut with the Silhouette Stems 1 dies...Lollipop, Strawberry Milkshake, and Candy Corn card stock were used along with additional cuts of the leaves to fill up the space. The background was created with the Lattice Cutting Plate and the butterfly was cut with one of the  In Flight Overlays dies.  The Sentiment from the Wispy Wishes stamp set was stamped on the Band It 2 diecut and a sprinkles flower shape was added as the finishing touch.

Thanks for popping in today....have a good one!!!

Love your birthday card with the bright spring flowers! I think drinking that nasty stuff for a colonoscopy wins by a hair :-).

Joan, your card is so beautiful!! Really love the trellis look and the die cut flowers really remind of Spring coming!! I wish the temps would get that high here! It's like a high of 40ish today which really isn't too bad for us this time of year! :) Hope you enjoy your weekend!

Our weather is doing the same, though I think it will stay cool through this weekend. Your card is gorgeous! I think I may have to purchase the Silhouette Stems 1 die after seeing how you used it; thanks for the enabling! :)
