Color Throwdown Challenge #314

Hello everyone!!! Boy, have we had the rain around here....3 1/2 inches in my rain gage the last 3 days...Woot!!! We have had some high winds, too, but nothing like what went on up north!!! It was a beautiful night last night for our granddaughter Mackenzie's first high school concert....it was fabulous and of course, Mackenzie sang like an angel (I think I'm sounding like a proud grandma)...LOL!!!!!! Anyway...

It's Wednesday and time for another Color Throwdown Challenge!! Lori is our hostess and I love the soft, pretty colors she picked!!

My card features the Taylored Expressions Big Bold Thanks sentiment set. The sentiment was framed with a TE Label Stacklets 9 diecut and the flowers were cut from Webster's Pages Hello World paper with the TE Bloom Where You're Planted dies and the scallop was cut with the TE Small Scallop Border.

The leaves were cut with dies from the TE Bloom Where You're Planted die set and the enamel dots and twine finish it off.

Remember, you don't have to use the exact colors.....use what you have as long as they are close to the challenge colors and be sure to add CTD314 to the keywords section when you upload your cards to an online gallery so we can find your creations!!

You will find all the challenge details on the Color Throwdown Blog.

Check out what the Color Throwdown DT has created for you today!!

Beautiful colors and a beautiful card! Love the design on this one.
We didn't get a single drop of rain over this way and need it so bad. So glad you got some though.

Love your card!! The layout is perfect! We've had rain too and needed it...aerated the yard! Pics of your granddaughter are wonderful...always wanted to have a voice...now, for the pink or purple hair...my youngest got her hair cut in a bob and it looks wonderful...then she proceeded to show us hair color she thought looked cool...one pic was the Nicole Ritchie/Kelly Osbourne purple....we encouraged the reddish tint with her dark hair...thankful she realized it was the best option!
