Happy 4th

I have a bright and happy card for you today....you may need sunglasses for this...LOL!!! I was lucky to receive a whole set of Spectrum Noir markers and I have to tell you they are wonderful to color with. They even sent a video which really helped my coloring!!!

My card today features the Reach for the Stars Border die from Taylored Expressions. Instead of using it for a border, I decided to use it to frame my sentiment....the sentiment and the sweet little girl are from TE's  Mischief Maker Americana stamp set.

The little cutie was colored with the Spectrum Noir Markers, cutout, and popped up on the background paper from Pebbles Americana 6x6 paper pad. The sentiment from the same set was stamped with real red ink, punched out with a circle punch, and popped up with foam tape. The Reach For the Stars Border was cut out of real red card stock, cut into 3 star strips, and adhered around the sentiment. sewing, distressing, and enamel dots finish it off.

Thanks for stopping by...we have  Jacob, our 4 year old grandson, here today along with taking mom to a couple doctor's appointments and wouldn't you know it started to rain. We dug out the train track and made a fort so if you don't hear from me for a while, I might be tied up in the fort....you may need to rescue me from the bad guys...LOL!!!

Have a great day!!!

She's a cutie. Love how you framed the sentiment with the stars. Do you like the Spectrum Noirs better than Copics?
