TLC471 Embossing on Vellum

Hello everyone!!! I am the hostess for this week's Technique Lover's Challenge on Splitcoast  but first I want to make a little announcement....the TLC challenge turns 9 years old today...Whoohoo!!!!! Happy Birthday!!!! I can remember the first challenge but at that time I was just a stalker...I was too afraid to participate. I uploaded my first card in August of 2006 and the rest is history...LOL!!!

For my challenge today, we are going to emboss on vellum...either wet or dry.

What!! You don't have any vellum???? You can still play because you can use tissue paper, waxed paper, even acetate will work!!! Be creative....you could even emboss a napkin!!

My card features the Taylored Expressions butterfly set called Butterfly Parade and the TE sentiment set called Happy Heart. The bottom layer of the butterfly was cutout of patterned paper from Fancy Pants Beloved 6x6 paper pad with the Butterfly in the Sky die. The vellum overlay was stamped with the large butterfly from the TE Butterfly Parade set with Versamark, cutout with the Butterfly in the Sky die, and adhered to the bottom diecut, and the pearls were added to the top.

The sentiment was stamped onto Choice Snow White cardstock with smoky slate and cutout with circle dies. The TE Medium Scalloped Border die was used to cutout the scallop and a doily was used in the background. A button, hemp, sewing, and enamel dots finish it off.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you can join us for this super fun challenge!!!!
