Color Throwdown Challenge #267

Hello everyone!!!  It's Wednesday and that means it's time for the Color Throwdown Challenge!!! Melody is out hostess and she has picked some beautiful colors for us to create with!!!! I love the pop of turquoise among all the muted colors!!! First I want to thank Sankari Wegman for being our October Guestie....she is such a sweetheart and what an awesome talent!!!! Now, I want to welcome our November/December Guestie...the fabulous Cindy Lawrence....Woot!!!!!

My card features the adorable little town from the Taylored Expressions Baby, It's Cold Outside set. It was colored with Copics, cutout, and adhered to the background with foam tape. Additional trees from the same stamp were added...they were also colored with Copics, cut out, and popped up with foam dots. The background is a piece of tempting turquoise card stock that was run through the Cuttlebug with a swirly embossing folder. A Snow White ink pad was run over the raised embossed area for a little dimension. The snowflakes were cut out of Choice Buttercream card stock with the Taylored Expressions Make a Snowflake dies. The  green snowflake under the button was made with the snowflake die and Taylored Expressions  Split Pea Felt.

The sentiment from the same set was stamped with old olive ink and the button, twine, and cream colored pearls finish it off!!

Remember, you don't have to use the exact colors.....use what you have as long as they are close to the challenge colors and be sure to add CTD267 to the keywords section when you upload your cards to an online gallery so we can find your creations!!

You can find out all the challenge details on the Color Throwdown Blog
