I Believe in Miracles

Good morning everyone!! This will be pretty short this morning....my Dad was admitted to the hospital early Monday morning after 6+ hours in the ER. I finally came home last night to get a little sleep while my hubby took the night shift. I made this card last week end and thought I would share this morning. I think this is called using the negative...the leaf was cut out of the designer paper to show the embossed Mellow Moss
( retired Stampin Up! color) cardstock underneath. The sentiment stamped on vanilla c/s is from Stamp Oasis called Petite Words set #2000.  The stitching, large sparkly Prima, twine, and seam binding finish it off.

Thanks for stopping by this morning....I will take my laptop with me to the hospital today so I can visit all my blogging friends in between doctors, nurses, respiratory, lab, dietary, telemetry, and housekeeping staff....I tell ya...there is no rest for the sick while in the hospital...LOL!!!!

Joan, really sorry to hear that your dad has been taken to hospital, I do hope he's OK and won't be in there for long. I know there's a lot of rushing around when family is sick, so I hope you're OK too. All the best to your Dad.

It's a lovely card, your technique of using the negative works really well, the embossed paper underneath looks really good through the leaf apertures. What a great sentiment too, very uplifting. CoB

Will be thinking about your dad and hope he is doing better soon. My Mom is in very poor health so I've had my share of hospital visits and vigils. Hugs to you.
