Good morning friends....hope you are having a fun and relaxing Saturday!!! I don't have to do much today but play in the craft room...Whoohoo!!!! I have a few DT projects to finish up and some new stamps to ink up...don't ya just love new toys!!!
We had rain about 40 miles away from us yesterday but it didn't reach us....at least someone got rain!!! We are really lucky that we still have water in both our large ponds and some grass for our horses, thanks to my daughter Holly!!! George has been staking the girls in Holly's 10 acre back yard for several hours a day to graze so the donkeys have our pasture all to themselves. Lots of ranchers don't have pasture or water and the live stock are really suffering...please help us pray for rain!!! Anyway...
I did a little paper piecing and coloring with copics on this adorable Rubbernecker stamp called Child with Bouquet #SKU_532-09 . The papers are from The Girls Paperie, the scallops were made with MFT's Die-namics scallop dies and sewing, ribbon, and stick pins finish it off.
Recipe: Stamps: Rubbernecker Child with Bouquet, Paper: Vanilla, Real Red, The Girls Paperie Kitch dp, Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Accessories: Nestabilities, Sewing Machine, Die-namics Scallop Dies, Lace, PTI Ribbon, Stick Pins, Copics
Thanks for visiting....hope you have a wonderful weekend!!! Tomorrow I have a real treat for you....a special Rubbernecker Blog Hop!!!

Hi Joan what a gorgeous card!!! love it!
Joan, this is beautiful! Love her paper pieced dress!!! I have this paper sitting on my table and must use it again soon! Thanks for the inspiration!
I hope you all get some rain soon and cool off! I can only imagine what you are going through. Here the trees are starting to turn, my grass doesn't need to be cut often....fall is around the corner :(
Hi Joan,
Your paper piecing is looks fabulous!! Lovely colouring, too. That DP is so pretty, I love tiny florals. Such a gorgeous card!
I'm hoping that you get some rain soon. It must be a nightmare when you have donkeys and horses to look after, too xx
This is stunning Joan.. Awesome paper piecing.
Oh, Joan, I love this! The paper piecing and the delicate papers take me back to the simpler days of gingham and calico! So, so pretty!
Loving those papers you used and the punch for the bottom. Beautiful card, cute image.
Very pretty! Wonderful colors. Love the hat pins too.
Love the soft delicateness of your card and beautiful dp. I think there are a lot of people praying for rain in Texas including me!
Like the papers you used to PP with-cute image and card.
Praying for rain for your area. I know how Thankful you will be when it happens as we have gone through just a small part of what you all are experiencing. Hold on......
What a great mixture of paper!!
Wonderful paper piecing on your sweet miss, Joan love the papers and colors - we're having a little bit of rain today - wish I could ship it down to you!!
this is such a pretty card joan-love the sweet image and the paper piecing-the dp is gorgeous-I will be praying with you for the drought to end
Well, Joan, this is so lovely, your paper-piecing is gorgeous, and I like how you used the papers from the background in the image. The style of the papers, with the pins and bow have such old-fashioned charm.
I hope you get some rain soon. I can imagine the inconvenience of being short of water, but it's horrible to think of the animals suffering. Must be such a worry for farmers and smallholders. CoB
Such a lovely and sweet, sweet card! So pretty with that background paper.
Sorry you guys didn't get any rain - none here either but think they got some in the Dallas area. Just about all the tanks around here are now dry. So sad. We have property outside of Lockhart and one of our tanks is almost completely dry.
Lynn
Loved your paper piercing idea... and the stacked card idea is one I am definately going to use. Thanks so much...
sweet and romantic
