Happy Saturday!!

Hello everyone!! This is such a beautiful Saturday morning and a little later I'll be going to my DGS Cody's first baseball game of the season....I just love watching all the little kids play and hopefully, all the parents will behave themselves!!! Anyway..... I've been making some Easter cards for my family and thought I would share one of them today. My Easter card features a stamp from American Art Stamps called Branch with Eggs. The branch was stamped on Pink Paislee Butterfly Garden dp and the eggs were paper pieced with scraps. Sewing and the twine are the only embellies. It looks kinda naked but I needed to keep it flat for mailing so no puffy bow or buttons :( This is for a few challenges: 1. Daring Cardmakers - Easter/Spring 2. Pattie's Creations Design Challenge - Easter/Spring 3. Stampin For the Weekend - Easter 4. C.R.A.F.T Challenge - Easter 5. Delightful Challenge - Easter I made this card Thursday for the Ways to Use It challenge on Splitcoast. The challenge was to use people on our cards which gave me a chance to ink up the sweet couple from my new Rubbernecker Paris 1908 set . I also used RN's Ivy Frame #557 ......the images were all stamped onto ivory cardstock with Vintage Photo Distress ink by Ranger. Sponging was done around the main image and the twill, button, and twine finish it off. Recipe: Stamps: Rubbernecker Paris 1908 set #527 and RN's Ivy Frame #557, Paper: Pure Luxury Ivory, Prism Tawny Dark, Ink: Ranger Distress Vintage Photo, Accessories: Twill, Twine, Button, Nestabilities

Thanks for visiting this morning...have a great weekend!!!

Love the cards, I think the one with the eggs is fine, the eggs really stand out with the paper piecing, wouldn't add a thing. The vintage card is striking, it really has that vintage feel, love them both. Have fun at the game and fingers crossed that the bigger kids (parents) behave, I mean really guys it's kids having fun :) Enjoy!

Both great cards, Joan, I love the idea of the eggs hanging on the tree, it's an eggsellent idea (groan). Seriously, a fab design, and although it's a simple one it isn't missing anything at all. the stamped couple card is beautiful, you have some amazing images. CoB

2 great cards joan-I like the branch with eggs card-hey if you dont keep it flat it costs a lot extra to mail it.
The parisian couple card is a nice retro look-hope the baseball game went well-our boys havent started yet-still a bit too cold

Love the egg tree card. The day care I take my grandchildren to has hung eggs from a tree on the front lawn but they aren't as pretty as your paper pieced eggs. Thanks for joining us at Delightful Challenges.
Hugs!
