Challenge Monday

Good morning everyone.....I'm off to work but first I wanted to show you a few cards. I had a wonderful stamping kinda day yesterday!! I made cards for three different Splitcoast challenges...Whoohoo!! The first card was made for the CAS 115 challenge which was a sketch challenge and for the Featured Stamper 219 challenge to honor Sue (coffeestamper). I chose to case Sue's Love Hydrangeas card....I kept the same colors, hydrangea stamp, and Mother's Day theme but changed the layout, papers, and colored the leaves green. Stamps: Because I Care from Stampin Up!, Mother from PTI Paper: White, Night of Navy, SU dp Ink: Night of Navy, Old Olive Accessories: Button, Floss, Corner Rounder punch, Ribbon
Splitcoast's TLC 321 challenge was to make two cards using the same supplies, however, we were to make them both different...different layouts, styles, or designs.
The seamstress image from Red Lead Paperworks was stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa and the Rubbernecker Script stamp was stamped over the image. Lots of extras were added to the shabby chic design along with distressing, sewing, and seam binding. I kinda messed up because I didn't add the ribbon, lace, and pins to the CAS one...oh well...maybe no one will notice...LOL!!!
Thanks for stopping by....hope you get to do a little stamping today!!!

Gosh Joan, you manage to make a good few cards, but always such good quality ones! Love your Mother's Day card, it has such a beautiful restful calm feeling about it, must be the lovely pale blue shade that does it, along with that gorgeous flower stamp. And the seamstress cards are brill! I especially like the shabby chic one, but then I am a girl that likes fussy cards :) coB

Great challenges to play! The Mother's Day card is so soft and beautiful. I love the idea of the second challenge. Both of your cards look awesome, although I did notice you didn't use the ribbon, lace or pins on both cards....hee hee, *wink*
