Swap Cards

Good morning everyone...I hope you had a great Thanksgiving!! It has taken me 2 days to get back to normal...LOL!!! I have got to get the fall things put away this afternoon and start unpacking the 15 containers of Christmas stuff!! My DD Holly and I are going to a Christmas swap in Georgetown, Texas on December 11 and I have been working on a few designs....I just can't decide on which card to use for the swap. We are to design a card that can be put together in 10 minutes or less and I wanted the card to be flat for mailing.
This card is the flatest.....bling stickers and a Martha Stewart punched snowflake jazz it up a little. A clear Gelly Roll pen adds a little sparkle to the Gina K. snowflakes from The Magic of Christmas set.

The sentiment on this card is from Papertrey Ink's Snowflake Serenade, the red snowflake was made with an EK success Punch, and the pearl finishes it off.

This is my first choice....it's really flat and shiny with the Gelly Roll pen on the snowflakes. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink's Holiday Button Bits set.

Thanks for stopping by ....I hope you have a great Sunday!!!

Hmm, I love all of them. I think the 3rd one would be a good choice going by the criteria you mentioned. Otherwise, they are all lovely.

I love all your cards! They are so pretty with the snowflakes and the touch of red, love it. I know what you mean about the Xmas decorations, we spent Friday doing that. Just having a hard time that it is December all ready. Have fun at the swap, you cards are beautiful.

Beautiful cards Joan. Love the colors. Can you believe it is almost Christmas again. The older I get the faster time flies..

All are great choices Joan, but the 3rd one is my favourite too! The colours look so rich together in those proportions and that snowflake takes center stage :)
We put up a little live tree yesterday and it is lit and "garlanded", but I have to sift through all of the ornaments and scale down...in good time.

Hi Joan, These cards are so pretty! I am having computer troubles right now, and it is so hard not to be able to keep to my crafty routine! I miss the blogging! Oh well, enough of my troubles, your cards are rocking! Thanks for the oh so pretty inspiration! ( I "borrowed" the use of my son's computer for this commenting and he is kinda standing over my shoulder waiting to regain the use of it!) lol Happy Holidays!

I like all these. It's quite challenging to design a card that you can make in under 10 minutes - it takes me that long to decide what colour to use, he he. CoB
