It's a Shabby Kinda Day!!

Hello everyone....hope your day is going according to plan!! My plan for today is to get a few things done that I have been putting off like weeding the flower beds, mop the floor, and wash the sheets...sound like fun to you???? NOT!!! I keep telling my DH that I need an assistant but he just doesn't understand...LOL!!! Anyway.....on to a much happier subject....
I did quite a bit of stamping yesterday....I actually made two cards for Julia's Ways to Use
My first card features the Color Throw Down #116 colors of Riding Hood Red, Certainly Celery, and Vanilla and Moxie Fab World's Damask challenge. Spellbinders Poinsettia dies were used along with damask flocked dp to create the layered poinsettia. The edges were distressed with Ranger Walnut and gold pearls added to the center. The framed sentiment is a sticker from Bo Bunny. The Rubbernecker Victorian Damask Panel background was stamped with Versamark onto the Certainly Celery background paper and embossed with clear ep. Prima leaves, lace and wrinkled seam binding with the brad center finishes it off.
Recipe:
Stamps: Rubbernecker Victorian Damask Panel
Paper: Riding Hood Red, Vanilla, Certainly Celery, Flocked dp
Ink: Versamark, Ranger Walnut Distress Ink
Accessories: Gold Pearls, Lace, Bo Bunny Framed Sentiment Sticker, Pearl Brad, Seam Binding, Spellbinders Poinsettia dies, Prima Leaves,
This is also for a few other challenges:
1. The Crafty Pad - Christmas
2. The Ribbon Girl - red and green
3. Delightful Challenges- Christmas
4. One Stitch at a Time - Christmas
5. A Spoon Full of Sugar - die cuts/punches
This card was also made for the WT challenge....The Pink Paislee Artisan Elements frame from Stamper's Dream was sponged with Walnut Distress ink and attached over the sentiment image from Rubbernecker's Snowflakes and Stardust set. Snowflakes from the same set were stamped off several times with Riding Hood Red before they were stamped over the sentiment. Sewing was done around the background edges and a punched snowflake with a pearl center and the wrinkled seam binding with a button and twine finish it off.
Recipe:
Stamps: Rubbernecker Snowflakes and Stardust
Paper: Vanilla, Wils Wasabi, SEI dp
Ink: Ranger Walnut Distress Ink, Riding Hood Red
Accessories: Artisan Elements Frame, Button, Twine, wrinkles Seam Binding, Snowflake Punch, Pearl, Sewing Machine
Thanks for visiting...hope you have a chance to get your fingers inky today!!!
