Alaska the Beautiful!!

Hello everyone!!! I just wanted to share a few pictures of my Alaska trip with you....we won't be coming home till Friday but I had access to a computer for a few minutes today so I down loaded some pictures of our first few days.

This is a moose we saw along the road....just look at the beautiful mountains in the background!!

We saw lots of Bald Eagles...these two were on the mud flats. Alaska doesn't have beaches...just muddy areas where the tide goes out. You don't want to walk along that area because you can sink down and if the tide comes in you can't get out!!
People with small dogs have to keep a watchful eye because the eagles will shatch them up for lunch!

These blue flowers grow wild everywhere...kinda remind me of Texas Bluebonnets.

This was taken at the southern point of Alaska called the Spit

I took this picture out the front window as we drove down the highway.....soooo gorgeous!!

More beautiful views!! Everything is so green, crisp, and clean!! No snakes, fire ants, or killer bees like in Texas....but they do have lots of moose, eagles, and bears!!!

Just breathtaking!! This is looking out over Cook Inlet.

I shot this picture when we stopped for supper while driving south to Homer, Alaska. We camped near there and my DH went Halibut fishing in Cook Inlet.

I envy you!!! Alaska is totally awesome in my opinion. I am still homesick for Alaska.

Hey, if you have a chance you should check out the Stamp Attic catty corner to Diamond Mall in Anchorage. They have such fun stuff.

Oh wow, that's gorgeous! What beautiful scenery! Did you drive there? If so, you can stop by me in WA State, k? :-D We don't have fire ants and killer bees here, either. Lots of raccoons, mountain beavers, coyotes...and we're in the city!
