Sketch Challenge and Cindy's Teapot Tuesday

Good morning everyone!!! It's Friday and all is well here in Central Texas!! We actually got some rain this week...my poor grass is quivering with delight!!! We have had my DGS Cody this week..today we went to the Railroad Museum and the library. We also made plaster of paris dinosaur magnets...you should see my kitchen...yikes!!! Anyway...

This is the card I made for Wednesday's Sketch Challenge on Splitcoast. I just love the Stampin Up! Sweet Slumber Specialty dp!!! The Clear Dollar Stamps Motorcycle Mania image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with copics. A silver metalic pen was used to color the chrome and silver Dew Drops and ribbon finish it off.

Recipe:
Stamps: Clear Dollar stamps Motercycle Mania
Paper: Riding Hood Red, Baja Breeze, Whisper White, SU's Sweet Slumber Specialty dp
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Copics, Silver Metalic Pen, Silver Dew Drops, Ribbon

Thursday's Ways to Use it Challenge on Splitcoast was to use crinkled cardstock. We were to make flowers, layers, cutouts, etc. by crumpling up the paper to achieve a distressed look. I made some little flowers by crumpling up the dp, layering the layers and adding buttons to the centers.

This is also for the Double Dare Challenge hosted by Beverly (beestamper). She created a fabulous sketch for us to try! The Dare challenge is posted in the SCS forum now so stop by and check out the sketch...we would love to have your join us!!!

This is also for Mothermark's Teapot Tuesday Challenge #50. WOW, Cindy, almost a whole year of Fabulous Tea Parties!!! This party was moved to the farm house, barn, stable, and chicken coop because her teapot was a black chicken with white polka dots all over it. Now we aren't sure but we think it has the chicken pox ...yikes!! If we bring pigs we have to have them tested for the Swine Flu and then they can come in the back door!!.

My little chickies from Clear Dollar Stamps do not have chicken pox like some of the other chickens....they may have to stay outside so they don't develop spots!! The pigs, however, don't have the Swine Flu but they may have pig pox...yikes!!! No ham or chicken salad at this party....eat more beef!!!

The close up shows the little crinkled flowers and the buttons with the twine.

Recipe:
Stamps: Clear Dollar Stamps Spring Critters and My Little Barnyard, Very Punny

Accessories: Buttons, Twine, Ribbon, Dimensionals, Mothermark's Cloud Template, SU Scallop Punch, Nestabilities,

Thanks for visiting and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!!!
