Wacky Wednesday and Creative Belli challenges

It's Wednesday and time for another Rubbernecker Wacky Wednesday Challenge and Creative Belli Challenge!!!

Today's Wacky Wednesday Challenge is hosted by Linda Duke and her challenge is to make a card with pinks and lilacs.....this is sooo totally *Linda*!!! And guess what.....

TOMORROW, RUBBERNECKER WILL BE RELEASING THEIR FIRST NEW SETS (excluding Kittie Kits), IN TEN YEARS!!!! Whoohoo!!!!!! The sets will be available tomorrow so there won't be any waiting to order!!!
My card is a sneak peek of the new Flower Silhouettes set....isn't the image beautiful!!! It was stamped with Lavender Lace onto Prism Iced Pink and layered on Prism Frosted Amethyst and Intense Amethyst. The sentiment from the same set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and the pink rhinestones were added for a little glam. The designer paper is a scrap from my stash...sorry, I don't know the name. I did a little sewing around the edges of the background and a Fleurettes from Stampin Up!, a stick pin, buttons, Martha Stewart Twine, and May Arts Ribbon, soon to be available at Rubbernecker, finish it off.

For the release tomorrow, the Rubbernecker Red Hot Mommas will have a Blog Stroll. Just stroll along with us so you will have a chance to win 1 of the 6 sets revealed tomorrow, or even possibly all 6 sets (THE GRAND PRIZE). You'll want to begin your stroll at the Rubbernecker Blog tomorrow morning to make sure you catch all the clues! Today the Design Team will all be posting previews of the new sets for the challenge. Please visit their blogs today to see what you can expect more of tomorrow!

Creative Belli Challenge

The Belli Challenge this week found on the Creative Belli Blog is to use cello bags to create something fun!! I'm sure you all have times when you need a gift for one reason or another....wouldn't it be great to always have something ready to go!!! My little treat bag is just tooo easy and fun to make!! I colored the adorable House Mouse image with copics, added the sentiment from Stampin Up's Fancy Flexible Phrases set and mounted the image layer on turquoise Doodlebug Sugared cardstock. The background dp is from Stampin Up and Basic Grey's Urban Prairie. The cello bag was filled with M&M's and stapled shut. The piece of Urban Prairie was scalloped with the SU Scalloped border punch and attacked to the So Saffron that was also scalloped with the punch. The So Saffron dp was folded over the top of the cello bag and stapled to the bag. The image layers were attached and the twill finished it off. Easy peasy and sooo fun to make!!

Isn't this image adorable....gotta love those sweet little mice!!!

Be sure to visit the Creative Belli Design Team Member's blogs to read more details about their designs. You will find lots of awesome ideas!!! If you upload a card to Splitcoast or PCP, be sure to add CBC62 in the keywords section.
