Hello everyone....hope your weekend is wonderful!!! I just love this adorable Stampin Up! set called Man's Best Friend...perfect for *guy* cards!!! After sponging around the edge with Ranger Distress Vintage Photo ink, I added the hardware over the sentiment. Piercing was done across the top and brads were added. More Quick Cards Made With Scraps
Happy Friday everyone!!! Let me fill you in on a little secret....I'm not really here. I am north of Dallas at Bev Gerard's home with the Rubbernecker gang..WHOOHOO!!! Sherry, Bev, Shelly, Jules, Broni, Kittie, Linda, and Mr. Rubbernecker himself, Dave Miller!!!!! I can't believe I am in the company of so much Stamping Royalty!!! Candy and Tami couldn't get away but they are here in spirit!! Anyway, I will have some scheduled blog posts for ya through the weekend and then watch out...lots of party pics!!!!!
Here are a couple more quick cards made with scraps and unfinished project stuff.
I have had the Blue Bayou card and dp in my unfinished drawer for quite a while. I decided to pull it out, add some bugged scalloped layers, and stamped the Botanical Blooms images on a scrap punched vanilla oval with Blue Bayou and Certainly Celery. The sentiment from Think Happy Thoughts was stamped with Blue Bayou and the flower was stamped with Certainly Celery. Blue Bayou ribbon and brads finish it off.
Now this card had been sitting in my unfinished drawer for almost a year...just needed to add the punched Pink Pirouette scallop and prima with the button and glue everything together. The Inkadinkado Cupcake image was stamped with Basic Black and colored with markers. The Basic Grey Cupcake paper was matted with Pretty in Pink and attacked to the bugged Certainly Celery background layer. The ribbon and prima with the button are the finishing touches.

Quick Little 4 x 4 Cards
Good morning everyone!! I made a couple of quick, fun little 4 x 4 cards for today using scraps and unfinished projects. I just got my Cheep Talk set and can't get enough of those sweet little birds!!! I have had the Pacific Point card base in my scrap box for a month or so and the ovals have been in my basket of punched scraps waiting for this little bird!!! The bird was stamped with Ruby Red Craft and the branch was stamped with Old Olive Craft. The Daisy D's dp, ribbon, and punched flourish were all scraps as well.
This is another card made with scraps....I colored the little Pink Cat Studio birdie with copics about a year ago and the cute Imaginisce dp is from my scrap box. I used scraps of Chocolate Chip and Riding Hood Red cardstock and ribbon, Primas, and red pearls finish it off.

Wacky Wednesday and The Creative Belli Challenge
Good morning everyone!! It's time for another Wacky Wednesday Rubbernecker challenge!!! Today's challenge is hosted by Broni Holcombe and she has challenged us to make an Easter card for a child. Check out the Rubbernecker blog for all the deets and a bio of Ms. Broni!! We will be giving away 3 certificates each week to 3 different participants who play along. The certificates will be good for 25% off your entire order at Rubbernecker Stamps. All you need to do to participate is upload your card (preferably using Rubbernecker images but not mandatory) to any online gallery and/or blog, and post a link to the challenge blog post. In order to win, you must post a link back by Monday of the following week. Winners will be announced on Tuesdays.
This is an Easter card for a little girly girl who loves flowers and butterflies!! The background paper is from Basic Grey's Urban Prairie...the layers were sewn on and sewing was also done for the butterfly trail. The Stamp Oasis Butterfly
was stamped twice with Memento Tuxedo Black, once on the pink layer and once on a scrap of white cs. The scrap piece was colored with copics, the wings were cutout and attached over the butterfly stamped on the pink paper. The large flower layers were put together with glue dots and the stem is a piece of green velvet ric rac. Lace, buttons, wire, and beads finish it off.
The Rubbernecker Design Team, as always, will delight you with their creations. Be sure to visit their blogs for lots of inspiration!!!

Creative Belli Challenge
The Belli challenge on the Creative Belli Blog this week is to make bookmarks!! I had so much fun with this challenge that I ended up making three.
I have lots of *reading* friends so these will make great birthday gifts!!
The Hampton Arts image was stamped with Ranger Distress Black Soot and the edges were sponged with Ranger Distress Vintage Photo. The background paper by Graphic 45 was cut out with a long scalloped Nestie and red and black ribbon and gold cording finish it off.
I used a Snag'em Stamp by Imaginisce for the tree image...stamped it with Archival Black onto the SEI dp and colored the flowers with a pink copic. The sentiment is a Stampin Up stamp that I found loose in a box of other sentiments....sorry I don't know what set it came from. The round layers were cutout with Nesties, the rectangle layers were punched out using Marvy punches, and the background SEI dp was cutout with a long scalloped Nestie. The ribbon runs around the bookmark and is attached at the top with the large eyelet.
I think this one is my favorite....I love the vintage, grungeie look!!
The background was created using an Ink Blending tool and Ranger Distress Peeled Paint ink on a shipping tag. I developed a tutorial using this technique here.
The Inque Boutique Grunge images were stamped over the inked up background with Archival Black and embossed with clear ep. The script image was stamped over the embossed images and then a mix of Perfect Pearls (Perfect Pearl color) and water was lightly misted over the finished design.
Be sure to visit the Creative Belli Design Team Member's blogs to read more details about their designs. You will find lots of awesome ideas!!! If you upload a card to Splitcoast or PCP, be sure to add CBC60 in the keywords section.

Color Challenge, DDC, and TLC Challenge cards
Hello everyone...hope you have had a great Tuesday!! I took my Dad to the doctor this morning and cleaned my dirty house most of the day....I must have looked pretty pitiful because my DH actually BBQed some steak...yummm!!! Then on the news tonight they reported that men who ate 1/4 lb of red meat daily have a 25% greater chance of having a heart attack and women have a 50% higher chance of heart disease....yikes!!! I guess it's nuts and berries the rest of the week!!! Anyway.....
Today's color challenge on Splitcoast was hosted by Jodi Collins and her colors were Kiwi Kiss, Pretty in Pink, and Baja Breeze.....such pretty colors!!! The Song Bird Silhouettes by Clear Dollar Stamps were stamped with Baja Breeze. The large bird was stamped twice and one was attached over the other after the image was cut out with the round Nesties.
The dp is by Stampin Up! and Primas, button, pearls, and ribbon finish it off.
The sentiment says" The purpose of life is a life of purpose"......perfect for anyone who stamps!!!
Charlene (LilLuvsStampin) challenged us (last Tuesday) to make a tag with green on it. I am only a week late but that is nothing new!!! I started out with a punch out tag from Basic Grey's Gypsy. I added a journal punch out from My Minds Eye, stamped the sweet little bird and branch from Cheep Talk, and added the sentiment from Botanical Blooms. The flower images stamped on the round Nesties cutouts are also from Botanical Blooms and the butterflies are cutout from a piece of scrap dp. Twill from Taylored Expressions and green gingham ribbon finish it off. If you would like to join in on the fun...be sure to add DDC to the keyword section when you upload so we can fine you tag. You can find all the DDC cards in the DDC gallery on Splitcoast.
The butterflies were cut out of a piece of scrap dp that I used yesterday for the TLC challenge....I love it when I can recycle!!
I just love this little bird image from Cheep Talk......I stamped 2 images, cut one out and popped it up on the one stamped on the tag.
The Technique Lover's Challenge on Splitcoast yesterday was to make this adorable little Easter basket. You will find the template and instructions on the challenge home page linked above.
I used Cameo Coral and American Crafts dp for the basket and the SU scallop punch around the edges. The *grass* is a piece of Green Galore that I ran through the crimper and cut tiny slices...kinda messy but at least I got the color I wanted!! The SU Pretties flowers were colored with Cameo Coral and Bashful Blue markers and a rhinestone brad was added for a little glam. I need to make several of these for my Grandbabies...they may frown at the size...it's only big enough for a few jelly beans!!
Thanks for visiting tonight....be sure to come back tomorrow for Wacky Wednesday and the Belli Challenge !!!

Playing Catch Up Again!!!
Good evening everyone!! I finally had a chance to sit down and upload all these cards!!! My Grandchildren left yesterday and I have been busy cleaning, washing clothes, shopping, working on taxes, church, napping...my, oh, my!!! Anyway.......
This month's Dirty Dozen/Dirty Dozen Alumni challenge was to case one of our first cards...to see how far we have come from those first days. I chose to case my Southern Splender card.
I kept the same theme and colors but changed the image, design, papers, and embellies. The Hampton Arts stamp was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with copics. The paper is from Graphic 45 and Grungeboard replaces the feather.
Limited Supply Challenge
The Limited Supply Challenge on Splitcoast this week was to make a card using something in the Soft Subtles line, i.e., soft and a spring flower or bulb must be the main image.
The Clear Dollar Stamps Stamp March Flower of the Month was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with copics. The background designer paper is from Stampin Up!and I used Bashful Blue and So Saffron cardstock. Primas, pearls, scallops, and ribbon finish it off.
My 10 year old DGD Autumn made this card for the LSC challenge Friday. She colored the Penny Black image with markers and stamped the See D's sentiment with Memento Rich Cocoa. The background paper is by SEI and primas, pearls, and ribbon finish it off.
Sketch Challenge and DDC Challenge
I made this Wednesday for the sketch challenge on Splitcoast and also for the DDC challenge last week hosted by Francie G. to make something Springy with a bunny somewhere on the card. You can see all the DDC cards here. It's not to late to play along...just add DDC to the keywords section when you upload your bunny card. I used this beautiful Northwoods stamp from Stamper's Dream, colored it with copics, cutout with Nesties, and attached with dimensionals. The background panel papers are Stampin Up! dp and flowers, leaves, buttons, and a clip with a little ribbon finish it off.
I just love this image and had to give you a closer look!!
Color Challenge
The Color Challenge on Splitcoast was to use Riding Hood Red, Summer Sun, Kraft, and Black....yikes!!! It took me a while to get it together with those colors!!!
The Inkadinkado image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with copics. The sentiment is by See D's, the black flourishes are stickers, and the ribbon is from Flourishes. The background paper is from Graphic 45 and it was layered with Riding Hood Red and black.
Whew!!! I think I'm all caught up now and ready for a new week!!! Have a great night and thanks sooo much for visiting!!!

Creative Belli Challenge
The Belli challenge on the Creative Belli Blog this week is to use wheels.....either a stamp wheel or wheels like on a car. It's your choice...just have fun!!!
My DH received a card for his birthday with this adorable hiking bear on the front. Since I am a major hoarder, I cut out the bear and added him to my stash of must use images. I pulled him out to use with the Stampin Up! wheel called Nature Hike. The trees were stamped on the top of the Kraft cs with Always Artichoke and the wheel was used on the bottom part using Close to Cocoa. The wheel was used on a scrap piece of Kraft with Close to Cocoa, the signs were cutout, and attached to the main image with dimensionals.
The bear was attached over the background with dimensionals. The sentiment was stamped with Always Artichoke, layered over a scrap piece of AA, distressed, and attached with dimensionals. Distressing was done around the background and a clip with orange twill was added for the finishing touch.
Be sure to visit the Creative Belli Design Team Member's blogs to read more details about their designs. You will find lots of awesome ideas!!! If you upload a card to Splitcoast or PCP, be sure to add CBC59 in the keywords section.
