Wishin for Winter!!

Good morning everyone....hope you are having a wonderful weekend!!! I can't believe I have the whole day to myself....no cooking, no cleaning...just stamping all day...Whoohoo!!!! We are going to our favorite German restaruant tonight.....ooooh boy....can't wait!!! It's been so hot here that I almost hate to go outside...enough already with the 100 degree weather!!!! That's why I made a winter card yesterday for the Free 4 All challenge on Splitcoast...I thought it would cool me off a little...LOL!!! The adorable little snowman image was a gift from my sweet friend Carole who lives in the UK....sorry but I don't know the name of the stamp. He was colored with copics and the background striped paper (the challenge was to use stripes) was from Echo Park.

The snowflakes were punched from Marina Mist cardstock with Martha Stewart Punches and the pearls, sewing, ribbon, and button with twine finish it off.

This is for a few challenges:

1. Card Makin Mama's Challenge - red/white/blue
2. Stamp Something - red/white/blue
3. Meljen's designs - stripes or plaid
4. Penny's Paper Crafty Challenge Blog - red/white/blue
5. Ladybug Crafts Ink TLT Challenge Blog - use red somewhere on your project

Thanks for stopping by...have a great Saturday!!!!

Oooh Joan, I just knew you would make a fab job of using this image, you've more than exceeded expectations. He's from Serendipty, not sure if it's a UK or US company. Your red, white and blue colour scheme is very appropriate for such a well travelled snowman going from the UK to USA, very patriotic, lol, or was it the influence of the upcoming 4th July? Your day sounds fantastic....stamping all day then fave restaurant, heavenly! Enjoy it, petal. CoB

A very cute card, Joan, but are you crazy??? No winter wishing here in Michigan. Okay 100 degree days could make me wish too, heehee.

So fun and so pretty at the same time. It's red, white, and blue, and doesn't feel patriotic at all! It must be the wonderful green and touch of yellow!
