Happy Halloween!!!!

Good morning everyone!! We are going to have a wild day today...we are working on theHalloween display in the front yard but first I wanted to show you the rest of my Halloween gift sets.....this one features stickers from K&Co. and Memory Box dp.
Stickers were used on this one, too, and papers from Hobby Lobby.
This is Caitlyn's bag....the adorable stamp from Great Impressions was colored with Copics and glitter was added to the wings.
Fun spider paper from My Minds Eye was used along with some pumpkin stickers and a Stickles image colored with copics...tooo fun!! Now....don't be shocked......

Yikes!!! My house looks like the TV show The Hoarders!!!! My husband has a storage shed full of Halloween stuff....this will all go outside for his *haunted house* in the front yard.
This is what my kitchen looked like when I got up this morning.....George has been up since 4:30 AM!! We have no way of locking  the gate in the front so he can't set anything out till morning....

This is the fence he put up around the front yard...he stores the panels at the farm and drags them in town each year for his Halloween extravaganza!! People are already driving by slow and peeking inside to see how it's coming along....I'll have pictures of the finished product tomorrow!!

Have a fun evening...I'd love to hear what you have planned!!!

Halloween Set #9

Good morning everyone....It's after 1 AM and I just now finished all my Halloween sets....can you believe I actually made 14 sets in all!!! My DGD has 3 step brothers and  half sister whom I didn't want to leave out so I worked all day today to finish. We will deliver Halloween goodies this weekend...tooo fun!!!
I used My Minds Eye papers and stickers for this set along with some K&Co. stickers, jewels, and some black ribbon on the bag.

I had so much fun making the Halloween sets, however, as I was finishing the last one I couldn't help think about next year....sure hope they save these for next year cause I'm not sure I want to do this again...LOL!!!!!
Thanks for stopping by...have a great weekend!!!!

Halloween Set #8 and a Fun Craft Fair Project

Good morning everyone and happy Friday!!!! It's been a long week around here because I actually had to work 2 days....ya wouldn't think that working 2 days a month would be such a strain...LOL!!!! I have been working like crazy trying to finish up some projects for this year's church craft fair....I will be posting some of the card sets this weekend but I wanted to show you these cute little doggy treat bucket....they were just tooo fun to make!!! I used a Clear Dollar Stamp set called Dog Days for the pup, paw prints, and the sentiment on the dog bone tag. The dog bones were cut from kraft cardstock and sponged around the edges with Chocolate Chip. Stickers were added to the front of the bucket and  paw print ribbon was tied around the top of the bag holding the real dog bones.

Here is #8 Halloween set....it's for my DGD Mackenzie so it looks a little more girly! The adorable little Whipper Snapper spider was colored with copics and sponged with Purley Pomegranate. The fun flocked spider web paper is from Making Memories and the teal spider paper is from Bo Bunny. The sentiment, felt bats, Martha Stewart Punched bats, and Purley Pomegranate ribbon finish them off.

Paper: Kraft, White, Purley Pomegranate, Black, Bo Bunny dp, Making Memories dp

Technique Lover's Challenge on Splitcoast

Hello everyone....hope your weekend was wonderful...it went by way too fast!!! Tonight is my turn to host the TLC challenge on Splitcoast and my challenge to you is to use your smallest stamps to create a border for your image. You can also create a wreath, as long as it is a border around a image or sentiment. How easy is that!!!!!
I used the tiny flower and leaf stamps from the Hero Arts Sending Happiness set...the flowers were stamped with Calypso Coral, Wisteria Wonder, Pool Party and the leaves were stamped with Pear Pizzazz. The bird was made with a Stampin Up! die and Martha Stewart Punches were used for the nest. The Papertrey Ink sentiment and bow finish it off.
Recipe:

Yummy Round Flowers.....

Good morning everyone.....hope you are having a great Sunday morning!! I have three cards to share that I made this week for different challenges. The first one (yummy) is for Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge #148 and  their card drive for the patients at the UT MD Anderson Cancer Center. We were to use pink on our cards so I used some pink patterned paper from the Cookbookin Scrapbook Kit called Mom's Diner. The little apron from Taylor's What's Cookin set was paper pieced and the pie and cup are stickers from the same scrapbook kit. The sentiment is also from the What's Cookin set and the ribbons and candy dots finish it off.

Paper: White, Black, Cookbookin Scrapbook Kit called Mom's Diner

Mother's Love

Good morning everyone!! Hope all is well with you and yours!!  I had some time to stamp yesterday so I made a card for Splitcoast's Ways to Use it Challenge to make faux tiles. ....I used Julie Warner's tutorial for my faux tile background. The white cardstock was scored and then the retired Stampin Up! background (sorry, I don't know the name) was stamped over the negative scored side. The image was colored with copics and then each square was masked off on the inside of the score lines and sponged with Memento Desert Sand. The ribbon, flowers, and pearl flourish finish it off.
Recipe: Stamps: Stampin Up!
Paper: White, Chocolate Chip, Pink Pirouette
Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa, Memento Desert Sand
Accessories: Silk Ribbon, Primas, Pearl Flourish, Score Pal

This is also for  a few other challenges:
1. Little Miss Muffet Challenge - girly girl
2. Moving Along With the Times - vintage
3. Stampin B's  - scoring
4. Kaboodle Doodles - squares or inchies
5. The Pink Elephant - scoring
6. Heart Song Inspirations - flowers or felt

Thanks for dropping by....I'm off to the shower and then to the grocery store. Not too exciting but I am going to buy a little chocolate....that will get my heart pumping a little faster...Whoohoo!!!!

More Swap Cards

Good morning everyone!! Can you believe it's October 20th already...OMG!!! Thanksgiving is right around the corner and then Christmas....I guess I better start making some Christmas lists!! Since my Grands are getting older, it's really hard to find just the right gifts. They are pretty good about giving me suggestions but you can probably guess what they want....ipads, telephones, computers, laptops...yikes!!! What happened to dolls and trucks...LOL!!! Anyway....
Here are more of the cards we made at the Austin Area Shoebox Swap a couple of weeks ago....lots of great inspiration, for sure!!!!
The first card was designed by Lydia Fiedler..... she used a Stampin Up set for the ornaments and isn't the glittery paper pretty!!!
This is a Whipper Snapper Santa image....tooo cute!!
I love this little cowgirl but I can't remember the stamp company.
This was one of my favorites...the balloon was made fron several oval punched pieces.

Here are four wonderful flat cards perfect for mailing...the owl card in the back will make a great guy card!!

Thanks for visiting.....have a great day!!!

Taylored Expressions October Customer Blast from the Past Blog Hop

Hello everyone and welcome to the Taylored Expressions October Blast from the Past Customer Blog Hop!!!! You are going to find sooo much inspiration along the hop...each project will feature Taylored Expressions Stamps and products. We have a double theme this month...Trick or Sweet!! I kinda combined the two with these adorable little cuppies from TE's Trick or Sweet set. I also used the  sketch which was designed by Sankari Wegman and the colors for this weeks Color Throwdown Challenge:

The little cuppie goblins were colored with copics, cutout, and popped up on the oval nesties layer. Stampin Up! patterned paper was used for all the layers, sewing was done around the edges, and the negative ends of a rick rack die were used for the scalloped edges. Rich Razzleberry ribbon and a little bling finish it off.

Thanks sooo much for joining us today....have fun!!!
