March of the Snowmen Blog Hop

Hello everyone and welcome to the 2nd Annual March of the Snowmen Blog Hop!!! We are a group of crafters who love snowmen and wanted to show them a little love during this cold, Winter season!!! There will be lots of blog candy along the way so be sure to check out all the blogs as you stroll through the hop!!! If you came from JenMarie's blog, you are on the right track!!!
This Alesa Baker Snowman Stamp is one of my favorites...the little baby snowman is just tooo cute!!! The image was colored with Copics, Barely Banana was sponged over the star, and glitter was added to the hats, snowflake, and star. I used Taylored Expressions snowflake dies to cut the felt snowflakes and MFT's Die-namics were used to cut the scallops at the botton and the felt Rick Rack. The sentiment is from Verve's Winter Wishes set and the button and bakers twine finish it off.
The glitter shows up better in the close up.
Recipe:
Stamps: Alesa Baker Snowmen pair and sentiment from Verve's Winter Wishes set
Paper: Pure Luxury White, Wild Wasabi, Three Bugs in a Rug Let it Snow dp
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Barely Banana
Accessories: Felt, Button, Baker's Twine, Glitter, TE Snowflake Dies, Blossom Nestabilities, MFT's Die-namics Dies, Nestabilities
This adorable snowman stamp from Penny Black was colored with Copics and glitter was added to their caps for a little glam!! Sponging was done around the background while the image was still in the Nesties die. The sentiment from Verve's Winter Wishes set was stamped with Versamark and embossed with white ep. Sewing was done around the background Echo Park Winter Time dp and the wrinkled seam binding, stacked buttons, and baker's twine are the finishing touches!!

Happy Thursday!!!

Good morning everyone!!! I have another Christamas *scraps* card today. I am slowly reducing the size of my Christmas scraps but there is one little glitch. The scraps don't have the name of the paper on the back so if it's not Stampin Up! or Basic Grey...I am at a loss as far as the name goes.

I stamped this adorable Alesa Baker Designs image from Impression Obsession, Inc. called Star Gazing with Memento Black and colored it with copics. I used a sponge dauber to color the star with So Saffron and the stars from the retired SU set called Bundle Up were stamped with Bashful Blue. Glitter was added to the hats, snowflake, star center, and the snowmen's bodies. The one corner was punched with the large corner rounder and then the Horizontal Slot punch was used to make a slit for the ribbon. Punched snowflakes and SU buttons were added for the finishing touches.

This is a close up of all the sparkle!!
Thanks for coming by today. Later this morning I will meet my friend in Salado for lunch at a quaint little tea room and then a full afternoon of shopping!!! Can't forget to go to Stamp Salado, my favorite little stamp store. I am sure there is something there that I just can't live without!! I hope you have a wonderful day, too!!
