Owlways and Forever!!

Good Saturday morning everyone.....what a great day!!! Mackenzie and I are going to my parents this morning to weed one of their flower gardens....Mackenzie would much rather stay in bed and sleep till noon but we have work to do!! Next time, she might think twice about asking to stay at grandmas...LOL!!! We worked on this card together last night...Mackenzie punched the flowers and added them to the card...I love having a helper in the craft room!!!!
I used my new My Cute Stamps set called Owlways Friends. The tree was stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa and the leaves were colored with Copics. The punched flowers were adhered with glue dots and brown pearls were added to the centers. The owls were colored with copics, cutout, and popped up with foam dots. The paper is from Echo Parks Country Drive and the seam binding is the finishing touch.

Miss Caitlyn had a soccer game Thursday evening...the little 4 and 5 year olds are so much fun to watch!! Caitlyn is the smallest player on her team but she still gets out there and tries....this old grandma gets all excited when she kicks the ball...it doesn't go far but at least she makes a connection...LOL!!

She is practicing her footwork....

and here is the kick.....off it goes...whoohoo!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for stopping by....have a great day!!!

What sweet grandchildren you have, one to help and the little one with determination :) Love the card, the flowers and owls add great dimension and the bright colors are wonderful. Have fun weeding, I let hubby do that, I figure he likes being in the yard and who am I to argue :)

I love this card Joan. I've been to Oregon without internet for a few days and missed seeing your cards. I am still in California. You know I love all your designs. I love seeing the photos, love these of Caitlyn.

Hi Joan,
Your card is so fun, bright and cheerful. Mackenzie did such a terrific job helping you.
Caitlyn looks so cute in her soccer strip. Soccer seems to be really taking off in the US.....doesn't it? xx
