Color Throwdown #182

Good morning everyone!!! It's Wednesday and that means it's time for another Color Throwdown Challenge!! The fabulous Tammy  is our hostess this week and she has picked some warm, rich colors for us to create with!!

I found inspiration for the sewing theme from the sweet little pin cushion in Tammy's inspiration photo and my new Red Lead Paperworks stamps. They were stamped on Pumpkin Pie and Hawaiian Shores card stock and I used My Minds Eye Stella Rose dp in the background. Sewing, distressing, twine, buttons, and a wood dress form from Kaiser Craft finishes it off.

Remember, you don't have to use the exact colors to play along...use what ever you have that is similar to the challenge colors. Be sure to add CTD182 to the keywords when you upload your card to an online gallery so we can find your work!!

This is also for a few other challenges:
1. Craft-room Challenge - shabby/vintage
3. Incy Wincy Designs Challenge - something old (designer paper) and something new (stamps)

Do you want to see some wonderful inspiration?? Here are the links to the Color Throwdown Designers..... check out what they created this week!

Broni Holcombe - Splashes of Watercolor

hi there! (waves to Joan). It's been lovely catching up with your cards, seeing your family photos and of course George's chickens! It's been a while since I dropped in as I havent felt up to blogging for a few weeks, and it always takes me ages to catch up on your blog when I've been AWOL because I simply have to read every word, lol.

Now you know I luuuuurve all your cards, but my fave is without doubt the Colour Throwdown card where you used the wooden gate.....how totally gorgeous! And a very close second is your button flowers card (Hope Whispers). But so many wonderful designs.

Can't believe how quickly the temperatures change over in your neck of the woods, seems to go from very cold to quite warm in the space of a couple of weeks. We've had fine days interspersed with some very cold days but we are definitely getting that feeling of spring now. Sending love from the UK, CoB
