Masculine Birthday

Good morning everyone...I have a few minutes before I go to work so I thought I would share a masculine card I made. I have a big problem designing guy cards....why is that anyway??? Maybe it's because I can't use lace, ribbons, bling, pink....LOL!!! For this card I used some awesome paper called Torn by Crate Paper....after cutting the strips, I staggered them on the vanilla cardstock to create a fun bargello pattern. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink's Birthday Basics, and the cork button and twine finish it off.
Thanks for stopping by today...I will be visiting all my blog friends tonight!!!

That's a great masculine card. I especially like the cork button. Masculine cards just aren't as fun to make without the bling and all! But I guess they do stretch us because we have to come up with other ways to dress them up.

Making men's cards would be so much easier and much more fun if only they would start to like lace, ribbons and flowers, he he. You made a great one though, I love that bargello technique, and i like how you made it slightly assymetrical too. The cork button looks so good, did you make it yourself? CoB

ding, ding, ding, ding!! Winner here! I'm with you on how tricky it seems to "do it up masculine" ... but this one hits the nail right on the head! WTG!
