My card today represents one of my favorite Thanksgiving desserts...Cherry Pie!!! Can't ya just taste it warm with vanilla ice cream melting all over the top....yummmmm!!!
The Rubbernecker Cherry Pie image was stamped with Brilliance Black, Ranger Distress Ink Scattered Straw and Peeled Paint were sponged on, and the cherry, hearts, and red border were colored with a Real Red marker.
The image was then cutout and used as a pattern to cutout the under layer from Riding Hood Red cardstock, the black layers were run through the cuttlebug using the dotted swiss folder, and the pie image was then attached with dimensionals. The sentiment, from the Rubbernecker Petite Word Set, was stamped with Brilliance Black onto white cardstock and sponged with Scattered Straw. The layers were cut out with Nestabilities and attached with dimensionals.
The cherry paper from Graphic 45's Times Nouveau Collection made the perfect background and the punched flourishes and Dew Drops complete the design.
Recipe: Stamps: Rubbernecker Cherry Pie and Petite Sentiments
Paper: White, Black, Riding Hood Red, Graphic 45 dp
Ink: Brilliance Black, Ranger Distress Ink Scattered Straw and Peeled Paint
Accessories: Ribbon, Dew Drops, Cuttlebug, Nestabilities, Punched Flourishes, Dimensionals
Thanks for visiting and have fun on the Treasure Hunt!!

Oh wow, I love that big Cherry Pie image!!! Great card!

My favorite Thanksgiving food? Well, you KNOW it ain't gonna be pumpkin pie. I'm just not a pie person. When I was a kid, my fave was Gramma's mashed potatoes - so light and perfect and fluffy. Today, my fave food is my hubby's gravy..................... I love to put it over EVERYTHING! Turkey, taters, stuffing, corn, rolls.......... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....................

Love the warm colors on that card! One of my favorite appetizers for Thanksgiving is a praline topped Brie. It is baked so the cheese is just at melting point and with the pecans and brown sugar.....well, needless to say, it doesn't last long in our house! :D

Ooh, that pie looks yummy...my favorite to make for Thanksgiving is a stuffing that's made from made-from-scratch bread with all the herbs inside. It's so good! (I live overseas, so I can't run to the store for a box of Stovetop, ya know? LOL) Thanks for the chance to win!

Love your wonderful card!! Thanksgiving would just not be thanksgiving without my mom's homemade cranberry sauce. I just love it. I have to have it with every bite of dressing!!! October just flew by and I know November will as well, so thanks for getting me thinking of those yummies and those blessings that make this season so very special!!

I love the whole meal!!! I guess I would have to say the baked corn since I do not make it that often.
