My card today represents one of my favorite Thanksgiving desserts...Cherry Pie!!! Can't ya just taste it warm with vanilla ice cream melting all over the top....yummmmm!!!
The Rubbernecker Cherry Pie image was stamped with Brilliance Black, Ranger Distress Ink Scattered Straw and Peeled Paint were sponged on, and the cherry, hearts, and red border were colored with a Real Red marker.
The image was then cutout and used as a pattern to cutout the under layer from Riding Hood Red cardstock, the black layers were run through the cuttlebug using the dotted swiss folder, and the pie image was then attached with dimensionals. The sentiment, from the Rubbernecker Petite Word Set, was stamped with Brilliance Black onto white cardstock and sponged with Scattered Straw. The layers were cut out with Nestabilities and attached with dimensionals.
The cherry paper from Graphic 45's Times Nouveau Collection made the perfect background and the punched flourishes and Dew Drops complete the design.

I love this pie card, Joan! It is so darling.
Oh wow, I love that big Cherry Pie image!!! Great card!
My favorite Thanksgiving food? Well, you KNOW it ain't gonna be pumpkin pie. I'm just not a pie person. When I was a kid, my fave was Gramma's mashed potatoes - so light and perfect and fluffy. Today, my fave food is my hubby's gravy..................... I love to put it over EVERYTHING! Turkey, taters, stuffing, corn, rolls.......... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....................
Oh my word, Joan! This is FABULOUS! The background paper is perfect for this image and now I so want cherry pie, and I don't even like it.
Pumpkin Pie!!! Yummy! Thanks so much for the chance!!!
Beautiful card......mmmm.......pie! :)
My favorite dish -- STUFFING! I'm a turkey-aholic....
Love the warm colors on that card! One of my favorite appetizers for Thanksgiving is a praline topped Brie. It is baked so the cheese is just at melting point and with the pecans and brown sugar.....well, needless to say, it doesn't last long in our house! :D
Yummmmmmy! I love cherry pie! Your card is fabulous! I love the layout!
Darn it--- now I'm hungry Joan! :) My FAVORITE Thanksgiving treat is Snicker Apple Salad with Coolwhip, snickers, and grannysmith apples-- I make it every year and color the cool whip orange! :)
How fun! I'm lovin' a chance to win some Rubber Bucks to one of my all-time favorite stamp companies!! woohoo.
Ok.. onto the question. One of my most favorite Thanksgiving treats is yum-o-la Sweet Potato Crunch! mmmm, mmmm, good. Do you make this dish? Let me know, and I will send you the recipe! It is da bomb, girlfriend! teehee!
omgoodness, I have another.. do you know I love crunchy stuffing?! with some warm homemade gravy -mmm, mmm,,
and..... and.... and....
I think I just gained 10 pounds thinking about it - LOL.. The best part, is that this year it is our turn to go to MY Mom and Dad's for Thanksgiving! Hooray!
Ooh, that pie looks yummy...my favorite to make for Thanksgiving is a stuffing that's made from made-from-scratch bread with all the herbs inside. It's so good! (I live overseas, so I can't run to the store for a box of Stovetop, ya know? LOL) Thanks for the chance to win!
Love your wonderful card!! Thanksgiving would just not be thanksgiving without my mom's homemade cranberry sauce. I just love it. I have to have it with every bite of dressing!!! October just flew by and I know November will as well, so thanks for getting me thinking of those yummies and those blessings that make this season so very special!!
I love the whole meal!!! I guess I would have to say the baked corn since I do not make it that often.
Love the card and I love Pumpkin Pie. Not sure why I don't make it any other time of the year? Hmmm
Yummy looking card! My recipe is for a cranberry pie. It's a recipe from Southern Living & it's delicious!
Love the colours on this card (plus the cherry pie). My favorite dish at Thanksgiving is the stuffing (with gravy and turkey and cranberry sauce and....)
Thanks.
Sheryl
I love all the food at Thanksgiving but my mom's stuffing is my favorite.
WOW this is gorgeous! It has such a great "country" feel and apple pie is my favorite. I know this is cherry...but ...I like apple. LOL The DP you chose is PERFECT for the cherry pie. Another FABULOUS job on this card! TFS!
Oh I love this Joan, how adorable, it reminds me of Mary Engelbright (sp?). A fabulous card!
