Color Throwdown #176

Hello everyone!! It's Wednesday and time for another Color Throwdown Challenge and it's my turn to host the challenge!!   When I saw this picture on Pinterest my jaw dropped to the floor!!  Don't ya just love that bed!!!. I think it would look fabulous in my bedroom but I'm not sure my sweet hubby would agree...LOL!!

My card features an adorable Valentine stamp from Redlead Paperworks called Happy Valentine's Day. It was stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa and colored with pastels. The papers are from
My Minds Eye Lost and Found and the corrugated cardboard heart with the stick pin, ball fringe, lace, sewing, and distrssing finish it off.
Recipe:
Stamps: Redlead Paperworks
Paper: Kraft, Vanilla, MME Lost and Found dp
Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa
Accessories: Sewing Machine, Ball Fringe, Lace, Corrugated Heart, Stick Pin, Chalks

This is also for a few other challenges:
1. Crafty Sentiments Designs - Lace and Pins
2. Oldie but Goodie Challenge - have a heart on your project (my stamp is over a year old and I bought the heart pins for Valentines last year!)
3. Crafty Bloggers Network - distressing
4. Paper Pretties - Valentine
5. Stamp with Fun - cute vintage

Remember, you don't have to use the exact colors to play along...use what ever you have that is similar to the challenge colors. Be sure to add CTD176 to the keywords when you upload your card to an online gallery so we can find your work!!

What a wonderful card and such a sweet image, I have never seen one like that. Love how you did the heart with the pin, you are so creative with that type of stuff. Well, off to build my Arc, up to 4" of rain so far, but I am not complaining.

Hiya Joan! I havent been able to drop in and visit you for absolutely ages, first because I needed to do some serious resting so I had a break from crafting, and then I had a lot of problems leaving comments, but that is all solved now, and I logged on especially to sit down and look at your blog over lunch.....well there were a lot of posts to catch up on since I last came by, lol.

I can honestly say it's been a joy looking at your work today, especially all the Technique Challenge cards, they always inspire me. My mojo has gone on holiday so i really need some ideas, so thanks for the inspiration.

I hope you finally got your tree and decorations down, if you had left it any longer it would have been better to leave them up ready for next christmas, he hee. We had a quiet time over the festive period but it was still fun. I'm just starting to get back into blogging and crafting again but at a slower pace.

Have a good day, oh and by the way yesterday's Moxie card you showed is just about perfect! cant leave comments on every post or I'll be here all week, lol. CoB
