Gabe's Birthday Card

Good morning everyone!! Hope you had a great weekend and are ready to face the week ahead!!! My DGD Mackenzie stayed with us Friday night and she went with us on Saturday to buy a tread mill....it came in a box with a hundred tiny pieces to put together!!! It's a good thing my sweet hubby can put anything together....he's a genius, I tell ya!!! I actually did 20 minutes on it today and didn't even get winded....hopefully I can do a little longer tomorrow and each day after that!!!

Anyway...I started to make this card last year at a swap in Georgetown, Texas but never finished it. Since my DGS Gabe is having a birthday next month (he will be 5), I thought I better get it done!!

The Birthday Elephant  is from Inky Antics...it was colored with Copics, the ears were paper pieced, and it was popped up on several Nesties layers. The banner was cut out using the Pennant Border die from Taylored Expressions.

Honeypop paper was used on the balloon on the inside....how fun is that!!!

This is also for a few other challenges:
3. ABC Challenge - zoo animals
4. Fussy and Fancy Challenge - polka dots
5. Phindy's Place Challenge - birthday card for a child

Thanks for stopping by...have a great Monday!!!!

WTG on the treadmill! I am hoping to get a new one this week too....depending on how much I spend in vet visits....ugh! 20 minutes is pretty good...I'm sure I'd be winded after 5 :(

You sound pretty fit with your treadmill, enjoy using it.

Your anniversary card from last post is absolutely beautiful! And congrats to your parents, 67 years is such an achievement. CoB
