Clearly Inspired Challenge

Good morning everyone and welcome to the Clearly Inspired Challenge on Lori McCroskey's blog..... today the challenge is to make a square card. Use Clear Dollar Stamps if you have them, if not, please play anyway....we would love to see your designs!!! A random winner will be chosen the following Thursday. Upload your cards to Mr. Linky on Lori's blog and if you upload to Splitcoast, use CIC8 in the keywords.

The image is from Clear Dollar Stamps Bitty Botanicals set. It was stamped on white cardstock with Memento Rich Cocoa and the buttons with floss were added to the flowers. The Sentiment from CDS's Birthday Celebration set was also stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa on white cardstock. The chipboard frame was colored with a brown Copic Marker and then sanded for a distressed look. The wood flourish was also colored with a Brown Copic and the gingham ribbon and the piercing finishes it off.
This is also for a few other challenges:
1. The Free 4 All #1 challenge on Splitcoast - use a color we don't normally use (blue), use Texture (sanded frams, wood flourish, piercing, buttons), and use patterned paper (SU dp)
2. Cute Card Thursday - use ribbon
3.Raise the Bar - use 3 of something (I used 3 ribbons)
Recipe:
Stamps: Clear Dollar stamps Bitty Botanicals and Birthday Celebration
Paper: White, Chocolate Chip, Stampin Up! dp
Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa
Accessories: Chipboard Frame, Buttons, Floss, Wood flourish, Gingham Ribbon, Word Window Punch, Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by this morning...be sure to check out Lori's blog, Clearly iStamp for the DT's samples and all the deets on the challenge!!! Have a great day!!!
