What a Sugar Rush!!!

Hello everyone...hope you are all staying warm!!! We are supposed to be in the 30's all day tomorrow...Old Man Winter needs to take a rest!!!!! This is the time of year I usually get out in the yard and clean out thte flower beds...looks like Spring is going to be a little late this year!!! Anyway.... I have a friend who will be having surgery soon so I made a get well card to get in the mail. This is for the Ways to Use it Challenge on Splitcoast to use an odd number of things on your card (I used 3 Candy Dots and 3 images) and also for the Double Dog Dare Challenge hosted by me this week...my dare is to make a get well card. You can find the DDC challenge in the SCS challenge forum...post #65. Be sure to add DDC to your SCS upload so we can find your card.
The sweet little nurse and other images from Crafty Secrets Feeling Yucky set were all stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with copics. I used my new favorite designer paper, Basic Grey's Sugar Rush....I LOVE that paper!!!!! The little syringe was cutout and attached with a touch of liquid glue. Orange ribbon and candy dots finish it off. Hope she likes it!!!
Recipe:
Stamps: Crafty Secrets Feeling Yucky
Paper: Whisper White, Lovely Lilac, Pumpkin Pie, Basic Grey's Sugar Rush
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories, Nestabilities, SU punch, Orange Ribbon, Candy Dots, Foam Tape
This was made for the Sketch Challenge on Splitcoast today...what a great sketch!!! I stamped the silhouette images from Clear Dollar Stamps Bitty Botanicals onto Basic Grey Sugar Rush dp and used coordinating paper from the same paper pad for the background layers. The edges were all distressed with my handy dandy kitchen knife....I ought to get a patent on that thing......snort!!! The sentiment was created from a few lines of a sentiment from Clear Dollar Stamps Christian Sympathy set.

Ribbon , piercing, and pearls finish it off. This will go to Shannan Teubner who lost her husband this last weekend. My heart breaks for Shannan and her two little boys....please keep them in your prayers.
Recipe:
Stamps: Clear Dollar Stamps Bitty Botanicals, Clear Dollar Stamps Christian Sympathy
Paper: White, Basic Gray, Basic Grey's sugar Rush
Ink: Basic Grey
Accessories: Black Marker, Ribbon, Pearls, Dimensionals
