This beautiful Stamp Oasis image called Nativity was stamped with Memento Black, colored with copics, cut out with Nestabilities, and attached with dimensionals. The star is from the Rubbernecker Tree with Snow stamp.....It was also stamped with Memento Black onto white cs, colored with a copic, cut off the top of the tree image and attached with a glue dot. The background was sponged with Summer Sun prior to gluing down the star.
The Ribbon is from Pinkhedge Hog Paper Crafts and the Prima and leaves are from Michael's. Pretty simple but I wanted the colors to take center stage!!

Double Dog Dare Challenge

Each Week I do a challenge with a group of SCS friends called the Double Dog Dare challenge. Each week, one of us challenges the group to make a card with certain criteria. This week Charlene (LilLuvsStampin) challenged us to make a card that would Razzle Dazzle us with lots of sparkle. I used this adorable Q.T. Hooty Owl image from Pink Cat Studio. He was stamped with Memento Black, colored with copics, cutout with Nesties, and attached with dimensionals. I paper pieced the hat with SU dp, went over the cross hatching on the paper with a glue pen, and dusted it with Dazzling Diamonds. I also covered the green areas on the scarf with glue and added DD for the sparkle this sweet little guy sooo deserves!! The sentiment from the same set was also stamped with Memento Black and the pine bough image from the All That Glitters set by Flourishes, LLC was stamped with Old Olive. I went a little crazy with the snowflakes....I couldn't stop punching them out!!!

You can see the other DDC cards in our Splitcoast
Gallery.

Edit: Well, folks, guess what I just discovered....I was supposed to add gold or silver embossing to this, too...yikes!!! I went ahead and added gold embossing to the 3 O's in the sentiment so I will be legal when I upload this to SCS tomorrow. I am tooo tired to redo my pictures tonight so I guess I will have 2 versions of this card. I wonder if the other DD girls will discover my challenge mistake!!! Don't tell!!!!!!

You can find the other DDC stampers listed on my side bar.

Thanks soooo much for visiting today.....have a great day and hope to see you tomorrow!!!
