Rubbernecker Bloggers Challenge #9 and Splitcoast Sketch Challenge

Good morning everyone!!! Today's Rubbernecker Bloggers Challenge #9 is an inspiration challenge brought to us by Broni Holcombe. Check out the Rubbernecker Blog for a look at the inspiration photo. You will note that my card doesn't look anything like the picture. So, this is what happened. Since I don't have any fern stamps, I thought I would take my inspiration from the colors. Since the colors looked like Christmas colors with the greens, reds, and blues, I decided to use the Carolers stamp and combined with the Christmas Block 52. This also qualified for the Sketch challenge on Splitcoast. Don't ya just love to combine challenges!!!???!!! Anyway..................The images were stamped with Memento Black onto white cardstock and then colored with copics. I know the card would look just fine without ribbon but I couldn't help myself...I just love this plaid ribbon and it actually begged me to use it... ribbon rules!!! I also stamped the Night of Navy background with Rubbernecker snowflakes and Versamark and then embossed with white ep. You might not be able to see them but I did stamp some snowflakes behind the carolers with Bashful Blue and sponged a little NON around the edges. I used a white gel pen on the snow at the bottom but I don't think that shows up either....oh, well, you will have to use your imagination!!!

Our Design Team, as always, will delight you with their creations. Be sure to visit their blogs to see their take on the inspiration piece.
