Good Morning!!!! The Ways to Use It challenge today on Splitcoast, hosted by Kim Hughes, was to use watercolor paper somewhere on our card. I decided to emboss the watercolor paper with gold ep and water color the Rubbernecker Christmas Candle with reinkers. The sentiment, also from Rubbernecker, was stamped with Versamark, embossed with red ep, cut out with Nesties, and attached with dimensionals. You will note that the edge of the image was cutout...well, I gotta confess. I tried to watercolor at the bottom so the image looked like it was sitting on something but I made a mess soooooo, I simply cut it off and pretended that it was supposed to look like that....one of my many cover up secrets!!! To finish it off I used this gorgeous gold ribbon from Stampers Dream.
Thanks for visiting today and hope to see you tomorrow!!!
Recipe: Stamps: Rubbernecker
Paper: Real Red, Old Olive, SU dp, Watercolor Paper
Ink: Versamark, Old Olive, Creamy Caramel, So Saffron, More Mustard, Ruby Red, Garden Green, Close to Cocoa
Accessories: Reinkers, Gold ep, Red ep, Ribbon, Nestabilities

Fabulous Joan! Such a beautiful stamp and so beautifully coloured. Love how you embossed the stamp in gold it gives such a lovely rich effect. Very clever cover up and for sharing your trade secret LOL! You asked about the cute hangler boy stamp earlier and unfortunately they're only sold in Sweden and Norway from a very small family business. Some people have contacts over there who send them stamps and a friend of mine stamped a few for me, I usually can't bear to use them in case I wreck them! Hugs, Chris

Oh, that is a gorgeous holiday card! You are a clever stamper to be able to cover up little accidents like that, I can't even tell you did it!
