What a great day this turned out to be....I have been stamping all day long.....Whoohoo!!!
Fran (Francie G.) was the hostess for the DDC challenge I do each week with a group of wonderful SCS freinds. This week Fran challenged us to make a card using the bleach technique anywhere on our card. I thought these adorable birds by Pink Poison would work perfectly!! I also wanted to use this gorgeous paper by SEI called Poppy so I matched the cardstock for the birds to the dp. I used Bravo Burgundy and Ruby Red...strange colors to use together but they matched the dp pretty good!! The birds were stamped with Versamark and embossed with silver ep. I then poured a little bleach from the bleach stick onto a plastic lid, using an old dried up blender pen, and colored in some areas on both birds. It looked sooo awesome when the color began to lift....I had to go over the areas a couple of times to get an even lift. The sentiment from the Girlfriends stamp set by Crafty Secrets was stamped with Memento Black onto Whiper White and the layers were all cut out with Nestabilities. The beautiful ribbon was from Pink Hedgehog Paper Crafts.
Recipe: Stamps: Pink Poison, Crafty Secrets
Paper: White, Spring Moss from PTI, Bravo Burgundy, Ruby Red, Poppy bu SEI
Ink: Versamark, Memento Black
Accessories: Silver ep, Bleach, Nestabilities, Ribbon, Dimensionals
Thanks for visiting again and hope to see you tomorrow!!!
