Clear Dollar Stamps Sneak Peek

I am really excited to show you the projects I made for the Clear Dollar Stamps December 1 new release stamps. The new sets I used are called Snow Diamonds Wheel and Snowflakes Tags and they both will be available for purchase on December 1.

The Snow Diamonds Wheel is a clear acrylic stamp that can be used on a wheel or flat on an acrylic block. The matching tag set has everything you will need to make you Christmas tags.

The Design Team challenge this month was to make a gift ensemble and a card to go with it. The card was made with the Snow Diamonds wheel stamped with Bashful Blue onto Bashful Blue paper. The snowflakes were cutout with Nestabilities, decorated with red rhinestones and a punched snowflake for the center circle. This was so simple to do yet it looks very involved! The sentiment was stamped with one of the sentiments from the Snowflake Tags set, punched out with the word window punch, and attached under the fabric snowflake with a glue dot.

The ensemble consists of a candle, stack of 3 tins, nugget tin, small gift box, and a large round tin with a paper band.
Candle: I stamped a piece of Real Red cardstock with Versamark, used the snowflake stamp from the Snowflake Tags set, and embossed with white ep. It was then wrapped around the candle along with a piece of Basic Grey's Dasher dp and secured with glue dots. Twine was then wrapped around the candle and several pieces of crimped red paper strips were added to the bow.
Stack of 3 tins: Basic Grey's Dasher paper was cut to fit around the base of each tin, stamped with the snowflake from the tag set, and secured with glue dots. Showflakes were then stamped on white cs with Bashful Blue, cutout with round punches, layered with Real Red cs, attached to the front of the tin and glammed up with the red rhinestones and the red gingham ribbon.
Red Snowflake box: This was embossed like the snowflakes on the candle and tied with the gingham ribbon.
Large round tin and the Nugget box: The round snowflake layers were finished the same as the card using the same papers, punches, Nesties, and rhinestones.
The tag was made by stamping on the metal edged tag using the Snowflake Tags set. A hole was punched at the top and silver cording was used to hang it from the bow.
I really had fun making this project...now I just have to figure out who to give it to!!!
Thanks for looking today....hope you have a wonderful day!!!
