Color Throwdown #199 - Happy 4th!!

Good morning everyone!!! It's Wednesday again and time for another Color Throwdown Challenge!!

It's the fabulous Lori's turn to host the challenge this week and she has picked some great colors to celebrate July 4th!!!!

I used stamps from Our Craft Lounge's Summer Sweets set...the pinwheels and sentiment were colored with Copics,  cutout, and popped up with foam dots. The red layer was cutout with a Die-namics sentiment die and embossed with the swirl folder.....twine from The Twinery and pearls finish it off. This is very CAS and I sooo wanted to add lots of *stuff* but I put on the breaks...who said CAS designs were easy?????

Be sure to add CTD199 to the keywords when you upload your card to an online gallery so we can find your work!!

Do you want to see some wonderful inspiration?? Here are the links to the Color Throwdown Designers..... check out what they created this week!

Broni Holcombe - Splashes of Watercolor
Barbara Anders - Paper Pursuits
Tammy Hershberger - Stamp Happy

Hiya Joan, I'm just catching up cos I've been 'off air' for a couple of weeks. I see you have been busy! Happy July 4th to you! this is such a fun, celebration card, you really got the mood right. Been looking at your other cards too from the last couple of weeks...lovely work as usual. i must try the sun ray technique, that looks fabulous and really great effect.

Aww your photos of Chestnut are lovely, she looks a beautiful horse. How amazing to have these wonderful animals around you, living in the city it's hard to imagine.

Hope your mum is OK now. enjoy your day, CoB
