Another Valentine

Good morning everyone!!! I'm still making Valentines....hopefully I can get them to the post office later on today. I know they will be late but I wouldn't want to send anyone into shock because they received their Valentine on time...LOL!!! An old 1998 Stampin Up! set called Kindness Shared was used for this card. The heart was colored with copics and a Cheery Lynn Designs diecut was used for the background layer. This will go to my DD Holly and her hubby, John.
We went to our DGD Caitlyn's first soccer game yesterday morning and boy was it cold...it was down in the 40's!!! This old grandma had on 2 shirts, jeans, coat, mittens, and a blanket and I was still freezing!! I can't believe those little 4 and 5 year olds lasted out on the field for the while game!!! Caitlyn's daddy ( our son Steve in the green hat) is the coach...he had to rescue one player due to crying and another one because he had to go to the bathroom. Coaching little ones is a far cry from coaching 11 and 12 year olds like Caitlyn's brother, Ryan...tooo funny!!!

Caitlyn is #4 and the smallest player on the team, yet....
she gave it her all!!! They won 4-1...Whoohoo!!!
Mackenzie, our 12 year old DGD went with us and Caitlyn was thrilled!! Max is her buddy!!
Once we got back to Grandma's, we had to make Valentines....and play with play dough, magnetic paper dolls, watch cartoons, spill soda and glitter all over the craft room...ai yi yi!!!!!! Now I know why God gives children to  young people....LOL!!!!
Thanks for stopping by...have a great Sunday!!!!

Your card is beautiful and so are your grandchildren. The fun part of grandkids is loving them, playing with them and sending them home to Mom and Dad. lol!! I love your image even if it is old. It made such a pretty card.

Beautiful card Joan! Sounds like you had a wonderful day. I sure miss crafting days with my son and now have to wait until I get grand kids, not that I am trying to rush things!!
