Good morning everyone!!! It's Thursday and today we are going out to lunch with my parents. They received a gift certificate to Cracker Barrel and it's burning a whole in Dad's pocket!! I love to go to CB...it's so much fun to do a little shopping while you wait, especially at the candy counter!! I love all that old fashioned stuff!!! Anyway....I won a challenge at the
Catered Crop this week and Linda sent me this adorable image to play with....
Heather Ellis of Pure Innocence fame sponsored the challenge and provided images for the Catered Crop DT. Isn't she just the cutest evah!!!???!!!
Her dress and butterfly were paper pieced with papers from The Girls Paperie Vintage Whimsy...she was colored with copics and I did darken the dress color with copics so it would look a little better with her skin color. Spellbinders dies were used for the flower and leaves and the Vintage Whimsy background papers were sewn and distressed. Ribbon, lace, pearls, button, and twine finish it off.

Love CB they have so much fun stuff, like movies and candies from when I was a kid, have a great time. Your card is adorable, love the image with the paper piecing and even the butterfly, wow. The colors, flowers and paper are perfect for spring, can't wait, although it hasn't been a bad winter.

WOW! Joan, this is just outstanding! So very sweet and pretty. Love the flower on here and all the pearls - and that little butterfly with it's wing popped up! So many wonderful details!

Hi joan, this is so cute, and I love your paper piecing, the butterfly must have been so fiddly to cut - you obviously have very nimble fingers to do this so neatly. also love how you coloured the paper on the dress, it is just the right shade now. CoB
