Halloween 2010

Well, did you all survive Halloween??? My DH spent 3 days putting up the fence and all the Halloween stuff for his *Haunted Yard* display. We had around 200 people come by to join in the fun!! George and his friend attached pullys to the creatures in the trees and then sat behind the fence to wait for victims...LOL!!! They would drop them slowly until people noticed them and boy did they jump!! You can see the opening into the yard with the 7 foot tall ghoul as the door greeter.

Just another ghoul that came to the party!!

This is my friend Egore...he's so cute!!!

My DGS Gabe came as a dinosaur.....

my DGD Mackenzie came as a vampire and my DGS Cody came as Wolverine.
I think my littelest DGS Jacob came as a puppy...or maybe he's a bear....oh well, he looked adorable, anyway!!!

One of the ghouls just hanging around!!

He had more scary creatures hanging from the trees...they went up and down by themselves and made lots of noise!!

Here is the graveyard. They had plastic bags under the dirt that were hooked up to air compressors. The dirt went up and down and looked like someone was trying to get out...yikes!!!
He said next year he was going to talk one of his friends into laying in the casket....that should really freak people out!!!
The witches cauldron had a globe sitting in it and when touched exposed the witch inside. George had a fogger machine hooked up to it so the smoke looked like it was coming out of the cauldron...you can see the hose behind the kettle. It really looked cool once it was dark!!
The weather was just perfect..in the low 80's..and all the kids had a great time!!! You should see my house now....we look like we should be on the Hoarders show!!! It may take a day or two but we will be back to normal soon!!
I will start showing you some of the card sets and containers I made for our church craft sale tomorrow. Have a great day!!!!

It really looks like you all had fun, but I can't take ANYTHING scary! I don't watch scary movies, I cringe from spiders, and all those Trick or Treaters that had on those scary masks had to get their candy from my son! Nope, I couldn't do it.... :D

Hi Joan! Playing catch up after some computer problems. I really wanted to come back to see your hubby's Halloween decorations. My goodness, what a spectacular display. Did the area TV stations air the display... if they didn't they should have!
