The Splitcoast Teapotters were headed to Lynn, Massachusetts yesterday on Route 88 to help Anne's (jdmommy) mother, Evelyn, celebrate her birthday!! I was really looking forward to this party because, first, I have never been to Massachusetts, and second, I happen to know that Anne and Evelyn are real good cooks!! Since da Mudder is on a health kick, I thought I could talk Anne and Evelyn into making some sinful goodies for all of the rebels in the group...Whoohoo!!! You can find all Mudder's Teapot Tuesday details here. I will get this in the mail to Evelyn this afternoon!!
This is also for yesterday's Color Challenge on Splitcoast to use Perfect Plum, Baja Breeze, and Pear Pizzaze. The Siberian Iris from Flourishes was watercolored with Tombow markers...I tried to match the challenge colors but my plum turned out a little bright. I don't usually create with so much white but I kinda like it on this...the iris really pops!!
Recips:
Stamps: Siberian Iris from Flourishes
Paper: White, Black,
Ink: Versafine Black Onyx
Accessories: Ribbon, Cuttlebug Embossing Folder, Tombow Markers, Clear ep, Nestabilities

Such gorgeous coloring! A very beautiful card!
I saw this beauty running by on my dashboard and had to come for a closer look. Simply gorgeous. I love irises. You've colored this one beautifully and I'm sure Anne's mom will adore it.I also use Tombows and a watercolor brush. Oh, I love pansies, too. My dh built me an apprx 4x7 flower box a few years ago and it is gorgeous filled with pansies.
O.K., I'll move on...just wanted to tell you how much I like this card.
