Stamp TV's CSS Alumni August Blog Hop

Hello everyone and welcome to another Stamp TV Center Stage Spotlight Alumni Blog Hop...Whoohoo!!! We are all excited to get together so we can share ideas and provide you with lots of inspiration!!! Carolina's challenge to us today is a limited supply: 1 neutral color for the cardbase, 2 different colors of cardstock, 1 patterned paper, 3 buttons, 1 color of ribbon, and many images as you want. If you came from Jen's blog, you are on the right track!!!

I used images from Rupa Shevde's adorable set called Spring has Sprung for both my cards today. Pure Luxury Ivory was used for the cardbase, Baja Breeze and Pure Luxury Chocolate Brown for the 2 colors of cardstock, patterned paper from October Afternoon, 3 buttons were used along with Baja Breeze ribbon...I used the same ribbon for the buttons. It was cut length wise, threaded through the holes, and shreaded the ends.
Recipe:
Stamps: Rupa Shevde's Spring has Sprung
Paper: Pure Luxury Ivory and Chocolate Brown, Baja Breeze, October Afternoon's Farm Fresh
Ink: Baja Breeze, Memento Rich Cocoa
Accessories: 3 buttons, Ribbon, Nestabilities, Sewing Machine

This one used Pure Luxury Ivory for the cardbase, Pure Luxury Lipstick Red and Pure Luxury Sweet Corn for the two cardstocks, 1 patterned paper from October Afternoon's Farm Fresh, 3 buttons and the yellow ribbon. I used the same ribbon to thread the button and fray the ends.
Recipe:
Stamps: Rups Shevde's Spring has Sprung
Paper: Pure Luxury Sweet Corn, Lipstick Red, and Ivory; October Afternoon's Farm Fresh
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black

Accessories: Ribbon, Buttons, Top Note die, Martha Stewart Scallop Punch and leaf punch, SU Flower Dies, Ric Rac die, Copics

Thanks for joining us today....now hop on over to Joy's Blog for more AWESOME inspiration!!!!

I love that color combination of Lipstick Red and Sweet Corn. What a fabulous card you created with those mushrooms and that color combo. And those little birds in that birdbath never fail to make me smile. I love the way you offset the label later. Lots of inspiration here.
