Creative Belli Challenge #98

Good morning everyone and welcome to another Creative Belli Challenge!!! The challenge this 2 weeks is to use metal and round and the round card sketch is optional!! Be sure to use something old and forgotten from your stash...the Belli Challenge is all about using your old stuff and forgotten treasures!!!

Don't ya just love round cards...they are so fun to make!! Round and scalloped Nestabilities were used for the cardbase and all the layers. I used the sweet images from Stampin Up's new set called Aviary. The sentiment is from Pun Fun...I taped off the image on the bird stamp so I could use the sentiment at the bottom. A squiggly line was drawn for the birds to stand on and the middle bird and the birdcage were stamped twice and popped up with dimensionals. Brads and a little ribbon were added to finish it off.

Recipe:
Stamps: Aviary, Pun Fun both from stampin Up!
Paper: White, Poppy Parade, Papertrey Ink's Beautiful Blooms dp
Ink: Poppy Parade, Tempting Turquoise, Pear Pizzazz, Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Ribbon, Brads, Nestabilities, Dimensionals

This is also for a few other challenges:

2. Kaboodles Doodles - metal (I used 2 brads on the birdcage)
4. Ann's Creative Nook - birthday card
5. Stemple Magie - birthday card

Be sure to visit the Creative Belli Design Team Member's blogs to read more details about their designs. You will find lots of awesome ideas!!! If you upload a card to Splitcoast or PCP, be sure to add CBC98 in the keywords section.

Mothermark's Tuesday Teapot Challenge
This is the card I made yesterday for da Mudder's Teapot Tuesday challenge. It seems that Gullible Gill is one of those fish that just gets teased and teased! He managed to get himself into one of the most well known fish mobs in the lake, The Silver Fins but that doesn't mean he still doesn't have issues to deal with! Some say the only reason he got into the mob is because his Uncle is the Fish-Father! Now Guido, the Torpedo, is the fastest fish in the mob, 42,000 miles per hour in calm water! I want to catch that stinker Guido...he thinks he's so smart and can't get caught!!

How can he resist this adorable little worm...the image is called Hooked Worm by Whipper Snapper Designs. He is colored with Copics and Dew Drops were added for the bubbles. The waves diecut from The Cats Pajamas was used for the waves at the bottom. The Kiwi Kiss ribbon is the finishing touch.

Grab your fishing poles and come join the teapotters for Mothermark's Teapot Tuesday challenge!!

This is for a few other challenges:

1. Design Dollies - Waves
2. Tuesday Taggers - sea, water, or boats
3. The Crazy Challenge - hearts
4. Karen's Doodle s Challenge Blog - Animals
5. Totally Gorjuss - aqua

Recipe:
Stamps: Whipper Snapper Designs
Paper: White, Real Red, Baha Breeze, Ocean Mist, dp
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Copics, Dew Drops, Wave Die, Ribbon, Nestabilities

Thanks for dropping by today....have a good one!!!

Joan, your birdcage card is adorable. Love those brads and the saying. Sadly the rules at Karen's Doodles require that you use an image from Karen's Doodles. Perhaps you might try again.

What a gorgeous birdie card Joan.
I love the scalloped card and your cute bird cage. The colours of your birdies match perfectly with the colours in your background paper. A great idea too, scribbling the line in. I thought it was a piece of wire at first.
Thank you for joining us in our metal challenge this week. We look forward to seeing more of your lovely creations in further Kaboodledoodle challenges.
