Taylored Expressions November Sneak Peeks: Sealed With Love and Food Gift Packaging with Recipe Card

Hello everyone and welcome to day one of the Taylored Expressions November Sneak peeks!!!! You are going to love this release...it's full of fabulous new stamps, dies, papers, envies and much more!!! I can't wait for you to see what we have created for you but first.....

Taylored Expressions is celebrating Release Week with some fabulous giveaways!! Visit the TE Blog each sneak Peek Day this week for details on how you can enter to win!!

Now, on with the show!!!

The sentiment from the Sealed With Love stamp set was stamped on the Sugar Cube cardstock background.  The Mini Colorblock Cutting Plate was used to cut the Oreo and Salt Water Taffy diecuts...I love how it creates all the little *windows* for the different images!! The hearts and cupcake from the Sealed With Love set were also stamped on Sugar Cube, fussy cut, and popped up on the patterned paper background.

The salt and pepper shakers and the spatula from the Flippin' Awesome stamp set were both stamped on Sugar Cube, cut out with the Flippin' Awesome dies, and popped up with foam dots. The button and twine finish it off.

My second project is a gift bag with a pocket for a recipe card and a matching tag. When I give food gifts, I like to wrap them up in pretty vintage dishes that I hunt for at estate sales....a gift in a gift! The lemon squares will be wrapped in cellophane and added to the bag for a gift to my bff. She loves lemon squares and she loves to cook so it's a win win!!

A pocket was created on the bag using a piece of acetate and Sprinkles cardstock. Three of the sides were sewn together and then red ric rac was adhered after the pocket was adhered to the patterned paper background.

The top border was created with the Stitched Banner Stacklets...the banners were cut out of different patterned papers and adhered to the previously released Small Scallop Border that was cut out of Sprinkles cardstock.

The bottom border was cut with the Eventful-In the Kitchen die. It was used to cut three different diecuts out of Toffee, Sprinkles, and Cherry Pop cardstock. They were cut up and reassembled to create a colorful little scene and then it was sewn to the Small Scallop Border diecut.

The tag was created with the previously released Build a Tag 3 die set....the base was cut out of Toffee cardstock and the scalloped square was cut from Cherry Pop. The little mixer was cut with the Eventful-In the Kitchen die and the banner was cut from Salt Water Taffy.  The sentiment is from the Life is a Kitchen stamp set and the cording is the finishing touch.

Thanks so much for visiting today...if you would like to see more projects and new products, please head over to the TE blog for a complete list of our participating designers! Be sure to come back tomorrow for day two of the Taylored Expressions November Sneak Peeks and remember the release is Thrusday, November 5 at 7:00 AM PST (9:00 CST)!!
