Hello everyone!! I'm the hostess for this week's Color Throwdown Challenge and I hope you like pink!! I so love quilts and when I saw the quilt in the inspiration photo, I knew we just had to use the colors for a challenge!!!
Remember... to play along, you don't have to use the exact colors. Substitute with what you have that’s close to this week’s colors. Just be sure that your creation primarily uses only the specified challenge colors. (All challenge rules can be reviewed in the right sidebar.)
Once you’ve finished your card or other paper crafting project using the colors, add a direct link to your creation using the linky tool we’ve provided on the CTD blog. And, don’t forget to use the keyword CTD295 if you upload your project to an online gallery.
First, I want to thank our May Guest Designer, Annette Allen....what a fantastic artist!!! It was wonderful having all your beautiful cards in our gallery!!!
Now, we have a new and awesome Guest Designer for June.... please help me welcome Susan Moore!!
Also, help me welcome Diane Jaquay who is this weeks Guest Star Stamper!!
My card features the Heart Stacklets and the Love Script die from TE's Pockets and Pages February Script die set.
First, the heart was cut in the top pink layer. Then lots of paper scraps were cut and arranged on a scrap piece of card stock, cut with the largest Heart Stacklet, and adhered to the back side of the top layer.
A piece of Bravo Burgundy was used for the matting and the button, hemp, and the Love diecut finish it off.
